Characterised with individually styled decor, warm colours, and a personal welcome, the hotel provides its residents with a restaurant and bars. Set in beautiful gardens in the tranquil setting of Boars Hill, yet located 4 miles from the centre of Oxford and Abingdon, the hotel is an ideal base for visiting Oxford's historic colleges and exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. All bedrooms were re-furbished 2003 - 2004 and are still en-suite and equipped with colour televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Several four poster suites are available. Fresh fruit is always provided in the bedrooms, and flowers for a special occasion can be arranged. A comprehensive wine menu accompanies the HolmOak and the A la Carte menus which are available all week to both residents and non-residents.
