  • Convenience. It was situated in the middle of town and near the station.
  • There are no activities (e.g. games room)for older children.

“Pitlochry is an enjoyable small town. It has a bus service, railway station, visitor attractions and plenty of places to eat. The hotel was in need of an upgrade in some of the decor but provided fair value for money.”

“The Hotel is excellent for a quick turn over of coach parties, We felt rushed as we sat down to our evening meal, it took over an hour for food to be served after we had orded, When we where given the dessert menu & orded it then took a further 10mins to be informed they did not have what we had requested, Our review was the main rooms where to bright could not relax as it felt more like boarding school than a hotel”

  • the hotel was easy to find the staff helpful and pleasent, overall very welcoming.

“We found the hotel staff to be very helpful, and our room to be lovely and warm on arrival.
The view from our window of the scenery was fantastic. The food was excellent from the al a carte menu as was the breakfast.
The Kingfisher bar was an unexpected find, located next to the hotel, easily accessed from the hotel. At the time of our visit we found the Kingfisher bar had live entertainment.”

  • Location of the hotel & facilities avaliable in the hotel (lounge etc)
  • Draught from the bathroom window!

“The hotel was excellent, the reception team were excellent in solving a small problem I had with a telephone no.
The restaurant team leader was a little surly when I asked to see a menu, to which he replied 'have I booked'? to which I replied 'no I havn't, did I need to'? 'YES' was the stern answer.... Not very user friendly? especially in relation to the price of the menu!
The lounge area of the hotel was lovely, with the coal fire, however the smell of paint and a vivid 'doggie' smell was quite off puttiing.
The hotel manager was jolly, talkative and a credit to your company.”
