• The attention given by staff at reception and restuarant was refreshingly above service previously experienced in other such establishments.
• Musical entertainment would have enhanced the occasion.

“I shall return, considering similar if not longer holiday in July/September. Any offers? Possibility of refrigerator provided in the room? We have a 18mth baby in the group!”

• Room was clean but a bit too hot. Breakfast was good, served well and plenty of choice.
• Check out was a bit slow.

“I thought it was a bit misleading to say the hotel was in Pitlochry when it is in fact 20 miles away. The hotal staff were very peasant, we had no problem with noise and the view was stunning.”

• well equiped and spacious
• Drinks are on the high side of average.
  Coffea at -ú2.50 per cup is not value for money.

• The staff were very helpful and there was a friendly atmosphere in the hotel. The food was gorgeous and value for money all very nice
• Our beds were two singles beds pushed together and there was no music or pool table or any form of entertainment at night.

“The hotel and its views was fantastic definitly recommend this hotel however if i was to go back i would go in summer so i can take advantage of the marina and also take along some music or entertainment for night. Overall was a fantastic weekend break and very relaxing.”

• Very clean & well kept in a fantastic remote, quiet location.

“The hotel is in a fairly remote location with only a couple of very small villages nearby. The nearest main town is probably Pitlochry which is a good 25/30 min drive away. This is fantastic if you want to get away from it all but does limit your options for eating out :) The food in the hotel is cracking though.

The pool & gym are in a building next to the hotel which is a pain if it's raining. It's also a good idea to book a room with a Loch view, the view at the back of the hotel isn't great - 20 ft of hillside!

It's the perfect choice if you need a few days to get a away for a quiet break though.”

• Location, facilities, provision of area to smoke, general ambience of hotel.
• spacious room with adequate facilities, hospitality tray, view NOT a wall or utility area.

“overall very good weekend, good to have choice of formal dinning or lounge bar meals, although felt prices in lounge bar for meals rather expensive for the menu options. relaxed atmosphere. would possibly book again.”

• Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, especially with ensuring the comfort of our child.
• Can't think of a single bad point, will certainly be recommending the hotel to friends.

“Everything about our stay was more than satisfactory - the only suggestion of improvement would be that the walk to the sports centre may be a bit off-putting in wet weather - a covered walkway at the last stage before you get there might be a good idea.”
