• Close to the metro station. The receptionist is very helpful. Clean.
• Room and shower area is small. Lift is extremely small and have a tough time taking luggages up to room.

“Lift as indicated as small by other feedback but have no idea that it is extremely small, even for asian size with just cabin size luggage.”

• The evening staff was really helpful in recommending local restaurants.

“It was the last few nights of our honeymoon before returning to the States and a great place to be rained in. We spent the last few days relaxing and not be traveling at a hurried pace.”

“The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are small, but that is typical of hotels in Paris. It is difficult to move luggage to your room if you have a lot of bags, as the lift is small and is at the middle landing of the stairwell, so you need to ”

• Convenient location for meetings with my students.
• Nine euros is an expensive price for an hour of internet time.

“Easy access to the Metro and the Montparnasse rail station (for contacts west and south). Easy access to the theater district and many restaurants. Fairly quiet street at night.”

• Position was excellent, metro nearby and great restaurants.Room was small but adequate.Good breakfasts.
• Tiny lift made luggage transport difficult but not a big issue.

“We were more than pleased with our online selection of Hotel Daguerre. The winter rates B and B offer meant it was good value.Luckily we enjoyed fine weather and were able to walk to the Metro and all around the surrounding streets.With a large Police Station at the nearby end of the street we felt safe in our surroundings. One night we walked down to the nearby Montparnesse Tower to experience the magnificent night views from the 56th floor.”

• The room was very clean. Most of the staff were very friendy. The price was good. The location was good. Nice continental breakfast included. Good value for money.

“We were pleased with the hotel, the accomodation was clean and the staff were friendly. A nice continental breakfast was included and at 70 euros per night b&b, it was good value for money. It's a nice area, with restaurants, shops etc nearby. There are metro stations nearby and the Denfert-Rochereau Station, where you can get an RER direct to the airport, is only a 5-10 minute walk away. We walked into town. On the downside, the room was very small, though we didn't really mind as we were out most of the time, and there was no soundproofing so you could hear everything through the walls. This wasn't too bad in January when there weren't too many other guests, but could be bad when busy. I would recommend asking the hotel for a room near the top so you're not disturbed.”

• location is very good, many shops around the hotel
• bathroom was a little smelly

• nice room with antique furniture, newly renovated and perfectly clean bathroom

“The hotel was very nice and far better than we expected for that price. The room was not too big, but nicely decorated with tasteful furniture and paintings - very romantic. The rooms are quiet-we had one to the street side, but there is almost no traffic. Bathroom was absolutely clean and looking just as new. The staff was friendly all the time.
The elevator is really small and its entraces are halfway between the floors, so it can be a bit difficult getting a big suitcase to the 4th floor like we had to, but nothing serious.

I can only give a big recommendation for this hotel and I would always go there again when staying in Paris (we stayed for a weekend).”

“c'est terrible de payer 75 euros une chambre et d'entendre les conversations de votre voisin dans la chambre voisine a 22 h. la d' est quelconque et us'le personnel est comp'nt le petit d'bien, le quartier sympa et le m'o pas loin...conclusion isolez vos chambres et profitez en pour refaire la d', et je reviendrai souvent.”

• Bonne situation dans une rue calme, petit dTjeuner satisfaisant, personnel affable et efficace, chambres rTcemment refaites a neuf bien TquipTes.
• Ascenseur a mi-Ttage, chambres trFs petites.

• Clean, well-decorated hotel with friendly staff made for an enjoyable weekend in Paris.
• Thought the lift was quite small.

“Accomodation standard was good. Location of Hotel was adequate enough to get to all major tourist spots by metro or foot (those not keen on walking however would have to get the metro, although this is straight forward and inexpensive). Breakfast was adequate enough, even though there was a fairly limited choice of food.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay in a magnificent city. We had no complaints about the Hotel at all.”
