  • Nothing.
  • Dirty and overpriced.

“The sheets were dirty, as was the bathroom. The mattress was sweat stained and covered in a waterproof cover which was very uncomfortable. The floor was lino, took me back to my days in student halls. We had a kitchenette but its power supply was switched off and had no kettle, saucepan etc. We had no view of the sea as we were on the ground floor. noises all night, walls thin as heard the man upstairs peeing in the middle of the night- nice!”

  • A quiet hotel that was clean and tidy with easy access to the beach and calais town centre
  • Not alot of choice for breakfast with a cost of 6 euros a little expensive

“We enjoyed our stay here, it was very convientently placed, there is a fully equiped kitchen but a charge of 7 euros per day for cutlery/kettle etc.”

  • One of the best family room we ever had

“Maybee a picture of the room would be nice. As we did not know what to expect. I had no idea that there was a little kitchen.”

  • Excellent location with beautiful views of beach and ferries entering and leaving the harbour.

“We found the hotel easily despite being provided with differing motorway exit numbers. Fortunately we were aware of this as some of the Calais shopping websites had provided clear instructions as to the changes. As our ferry came in later than expected, there was only one restaurant open (till 1am)in Calais, the Cafe de Paris, which served very good food. This was a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Our room had all we needed for a night's stay and, after reading other guests' reviews on this website, I had brought our own coffee/tea sachets with us, borrowed a couple of mugs from reception and boiled water in a saucepan provided in our kitchenette - sorted! Breakfast was ample and staff very accommodating. Parked easily in hotel's carpark.”

  • Clean - reasonable space. Adequate parking
  • Curtains in room in poor repair. Understood there would be tea/ coffe facilities in room but there were none

“Comfortable , conveiently situated hotel - ideal for shopping trip stay.”

  • Convenience. Ability to find and book on internet.
  • Ill fitting, rubberised lower sheet made for an uncomfortable night.

“I would not have booked if I had known the bed was going to be uncomfortable. In other respects, the hotel was clean, convenient and reasonable value for money.”

  • coastal veiw
  • breakfast poorly supervised.

“when booking breakfast was promised eggs, when came down 9am there were No eggs, no plates left, no knives, no milk and no staff supervising to give assistance.(ie too busy booking out visitors).
after paying 18 euro,s and only recieving french bread we feel slightly let down on information received. Apart from this your hotel facilities were good.”

  • Situation
  • Constant noise of fan throughout the room/bathroom. Toilet too small to close door

“Reasonable value
Bed very hard and low
Windows could do with being 'tilt &turn' so they can be opened at night
No smoking requested - not given - not even sure if it was available...should have been told when booking that no smoking room was/wasn't available option”

  • Liked the space in the room and the separate bedroom for the children.
  • Would have liked Tea and Coffee facilties in the room.

  • Very close to beach, and childrens play area
  • bar shuts too early, no mini bar, no way to relax, needs something for adults

“This hotel is right on the beach, but a fair walk from the centre of Calais, and the nightlife. The bars and restuarants that are nearby close by 11:30, so it is either an early night or a long walk. But a great place in summmer for families.”
