• staff friendly & helpful,& rooms spotlessly clean.Good breakfast.
• could have done with breakfast times going on a bit later as we are not good risers!

“our first visit to Yeovil,the hotel is in a great location for all amenities& we found everyone to be friendly & helpful.The surrounding area is quite nice,try walking around the hills in the country park & down by the ski slope.The pubs & clubs are great and we found the hotel to be good value for money.We are coming back in a couple of months.”

• A bit box-like, too compact

“Once in the room the noise from the bar next door was not intrusive - but this was a Sunday night. Can't tell what the noise level might be like on a Friday or Saturday!”

“the hotel was in a excellent location, very helpful and accomodating staff room was big enough.breakfast was one of the best i have had in a hotel. all the facilities were as shown and the clenliness of the hotel wants mentioning it was spotless.”

• the staff were VERY helpful and friendly

“The only thing that we were very disappointed about was the fact that we were not advised to book a table in the restaurant, as a group of ladies we really did not want to wander the streets of yeovil looking for a suitable restaurant, but unfortunately had to as the Alex restaurant was fully booked.”

“a very homely atmosphere, staff very friendly and accommodating, i thought it was ahome from home, i would recommend it to anyone who would wish to stay in Yeovil. Good value ,brilliant food, nice atmosphere, not too noisy.”

• The accommodation was spotless - bright and airey - staff were friendly

“When i arrived at the Alex there was nobody on reception as it was quite late (and raining) i went to the bar next door and a very pleasant young lady came back with me to book in. She showed me to my room which was lovely - really bright and clean - and she explained the facilities and services available.

I had a quiet night - just what i needed - and a lovely breakfast.

I would definitely recommend the Alex to anyone.”

• Clean, comfortable, quite quiet. Excellent shower.
• No outlook. Constant humming noise. Also the quilt didn't seem warm enough during the night.

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean - and I had all I needed for a comfortable stay.”
