• The location, facilities and amenities of he hotel were wonderful.
• The FATHER, Tomaso: control freak, makes you feel uncomfortable.

“The Hotel Bellevue is beautiful. New and clean, rooms are big and very comfortable. BUT, the father and son who run the place do not know about customer service. The father is RUDE. We were a group of 6 adults traveling through Italy for one month and our experience at this hotel was terrible, not at ALL like any other place we stayed. The father, Tomaso, runs around like a General, telling us not to talk to the staff because they have to get their work done (!); tried to charge us 6.50 Euro for another glass of OJ in the morning because "people take advantage and ask for 3 or 4 extra glasses of juice"; got mad when we asked for more coffee at breakfast, telling my husband, "you people eat too much in the morning, this is not pranzo (dinner)" (!); in the breakfast room he wouldn't let us stand at our friends table and talk with them when we were finished with breakfast.. he actually told us to wait out in the lobby! He is there constantly, watching over everything you do and makes you feel very uncomfortable. If you have kids, forget about staying there for sure. He doesn't like kids! We read reviews about the place before we booked, and knew about his attitude toward children, but we thought it would be OK because we had no kids with us. Not true. The son is a little better, but he can't do much because the father runs the place. It's a shame, because it is a beautiful hotel, but I would not recommend it to anyone.”
