- Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
- The breakfast could have been better, a bit cold and dried out by the time we had breakfast at 9.30am.
“Overall the hotel was clean and tidy. It wasn't too far to travel to the city centre. A taxi cost approx -u5 per journey and arrived quite quickly.”

- Very comfortable and clean, with all the needy accesories
- Too short to give a valid opinion I'm afraid.
“I only slept over, spending only the minimum awake hours in the hotel..All I wanted was a warm clean place for my lady to sleep. The Hotel room was just the ticket.”

- Room was a reasonable size with everything I needed for an overnight stay
- Room was very cold even with the heater on maximum all night
“The room was reasonably comfortable, except for the temperature. The corridor outside the room was very noisy with people shouting, especially into the early hours which made it difficult to get much sleep. Generally, this room was good value for money and fine for a one night stay.”

- Clean, adequately spacious, excellent shower, effective hairdrier.
- Room a little cold at night despite heating on full. Bath accessories minimal!
“Very polite, helpful and accomodating staff.
Directions to the hotel as given on the e-confirmation were poor. Staff were not able to give very clear directions on the telephone either.
Food and restaurant service was more than adequate, if not gourmet.
The hotel car park can be very full on a Saturday night.”

- Good, clean, simple accomodation at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast also at reasonable cost.
- Insufficient tea/coffee/milk satchets (2 of each)- although we never asked staff for more.
“The hotel is situated in a convenient location for City Centre activities (i.e. approx '5 taxi fare). The car park was well maintained,although it was full over-night, and the staff were most helpful and friendly. An excellent continental and/or cooked breakfast was provided on a self-serve basis at a reasonable additional cost and the service from catering staff was efficient. Overall we were very pleased and would definately recommend it to anyone looking for accomodation close to Birmingham city centre.”

- fairly quiet location ie: not in the town. the heater in the room soon warmed the room. car parking is good. the non smoking area near the foyer is nice for a quiet drink, it's a pity it isn't linked to the bar.

- reasonable, clean but not ultra modern
- starting to look a bit tired
“Could not fault the staff, the receptionist did all she could to find us a smoking double, which she did after much trying.
Good price accomadation
Great FAT BOY breakfast
Nice evening meal
Easy to find location and central for the city”

- Relaxed, friendly and secure car parking
“Having stayed in these hotels before it was just what i expected. Very easy to reach the NEC and city centre with secure parking for the car or bike.
Rooms were clean, food good and staff friendly.
Oh! and they do a nice pint of Boddingtons!!!!!!”

- Everything in one place e.g. accommodation, meals, parking.
- Catering very average at other Campanile site it was very good.
“Room was an adjoining one and as a result was very noisy I would not have stayed a second night without a move. I have stayed with this company at other locations and they we very good. This was just average and as such was not as good as I was expecting. Apart from the very high levels of noise (from next room and cleaners at 7.00 am and others in the corridors)everything was just ok there was nothing that made me think this is good I will come back again.”

- Firm bed, location was quiet enough to open window and have fresh air. Loads of breakfast, and newspaper was nice.
- Couldn't get the plastc cup out of its packaging without breaking the cup. Glass would have been nicer.

- Close to City Centre
- Bathroom smelled, not adequet ventillation.
“This Hotel was recomended by a collegue who was staying at this hotel. Had a shock when I booked on the internet, did not know it was Pet Freindly!! Rather off putting!! What does it mean? Are guests without pets put in rooms that may have had pets in them?
Also BREAKFAST was SHAMBOLLICK affair!! NO STAFF to supervise bus load of School children & we needed a pot of tea. Surley the staff could provide jugs of boiling water? PLEASE could the management try filling a Teapot from a dripping water out of the machine. We were late arriving at our conferance because of delay with long wait for breakfast.”
