• clean tidy good value for money friendly staff
• entrance was confusing on arrival not enough signs

“i would have liked to know what was in the local area there was quite a lot of good facilities around the hotel and shopping centres it would have been helpfull and therfore assisted my booking to know this in advance”

• very quiet. Very polite and helpful service from staff.
• One of the reading lamps didn't work, light in bedroom therefore a little dim for reading.

“I didn';t realise it was so far from the airport, the taxi ride cost me '35! I would have liked airport pick up service, but the booking form didn't allow for this request. The French staff were extremely gracious and welcoming. I also felt that my overnight fee of '39.50 was very good value.”

“I have stayed at Campanile Hotels before and find them very good. They are clean and functional, not luxurious of course, but certainly very comfortable, and offer extremely good value for money.”

“this is basic accomodation and was chosen on a cost basis and the reviews of other guests.The room rate for two people is good though i would consider the room rate for a single guest to be on the high side.
We ate in the bistro twice and the food was good.
We had breakfast on the first morning into the bistro at 0845 hrs and whilst the cooked breakfast was adequate the continental side was defficient in the bread/butter and preserve area.The on duty staff could ask guests if all was well and did they have everything they required.”

• comfortable/clean room, ample parking, good location, good price, good food, friendly staff
• noise, bar/restaurant closed to guests, no provision for early breakfast, no night porter, poor lighting in room, poor service due to private party

“Our stay had the potential for being very good and perfectly adequate for our needs. However, I would have liked to have known whether or not there was likely to be a private party booked, preventing me from using the bar/restaurant and disturbing my sleep. At the very least, I would have liked to have been given this information on checking in so that I could have made the decision whether or not I was going to risk being kept awake during the night. I would also liked to have known that I was not going to be able to have breakfast, due to no provision being made for those needing to leave the hotel prior to 08:00. Additionally, I would have liked to have known that there was no night porter available to resolve any problems we may have had during the night.

Having said this, I am sure that if we had stayed on another occasion and had not needed to leave early in the morning each day, we would have enjoyed a saisfactory service and would be happy to recommend this hotel to others for basic accommodation and a decent meal.”

• Convenient location. Friendliness of staff.
• Catering was poor on two nights. Some problems in the kitchen.

“Good basic accommodation. Some inconvenience concerning catering when large party of tourists delayed service one noght, and kitchen problems made for a long wait another evening. Pleasant staff however, and location and facilities were good for the business I was engaged in.”

• It was in good order, clean, fresh, and tidy and of adequate size. Everthing worked. Good breakfast selection.
• Could have done with more condiments in room to make up more than 2 cups of tea or coffee.

“Set in an easy location to find not too far from city centre. The room was of reasonable size with double doors (i.e. cloakroom entrance) with a clean, fresh, tidy and well maintained aspect. The staff were helpful and the breakfast selection was superb. We would not hesitate to stay there again.”
