“The home master, Christy is very kind and good hospitality. The house is beautifully decorated. She let us to use the sitting room and we took some photos there and also in the garden. It just fantastic. As the house is in the village of Kellington, not in the city centre, you should check the time of public transport if you do not drive by yourself.”

• Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Very clean. Good breakfast. Good parking. Powerful shower.

“The accommodation was in an ideal location to visit Doncaster, York, & Sheffield and was accessible to Hull and other surrounding areas. The check-in and out times were very flexible. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in away from home and gave a very restful and comfortable sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered a choice of a full English breakfast or cereals, toast, fruits and yogurts, which was all of a very good standard. The room and property was very clean and there was a very nice powerful shower, although no bath. There was ample off street and secure parking and a lovely pub only five minutes walk away which provided very nice and reasonably priced food and drink. Comprehensive information was available in the rooms detailing many local and further a field restaurants and pubs which was invaluable.”

“Excellent, although I arrived very late and left fairly early the next morning so I do not feel I fully gained an appreciation for what the Hotel had to offer. It was exceptionally close to the location of my meeting and I was therefore impressed by this.”

“This place is exceptional if you are looking for friendly, helpful service whilst feeling like your are living in the home you would love to have. The greatest strength was the privacy created...we felt like we were the only people staying there and yet there were indicators like the full car park and breakfast room that told a different story.

The combination of gentility, congeality and comfort made for a relaxing break. This hotel is a place run by the lady who owns the house. She seems to have managed to combine a professional business whilst still keeping ( for her guests) the feeling of the happy family home that The Old Vicarage was before.

Not only will we be returning but we will be recommending to our friends too. This place is an undiscovered treasure; it is tempting not to give such a favourable review because we might not be able to secure a reservation in the same room again!”

• una bellissima camera con bagno e pulizia tip-top, lo staff di una gentilezza esemplare.
• che abbiamo dovuto aspettare con il check-in,la macchina di ricerca tramite la quale ho prenotato traduceva primo pomeriggio con early evening!

• Sehr gutes Frnhstnck, gute Parkm'glichkeit, grosser Aufenthaltsraum, ruhig.
• Zu abgelegen, Zimmer zu klein, kaum fnr GeschSftsreisende geeignet, da kein Schreibtisch vorhanden.

“Das Hotel als solches ist sehr gut, sauber und die Inhaberin sehr, sehr nett. Leider liegt das Hotel sehr abseits, so dass man zum Essen fahren muss und es besteht keine M'glichkeit im Zimmer zu arbeiten. Ansonsten ist das Hotel jedoch durchaus zu empfehlen.”

• Nice room, friendly service, good food, lovely lounge to relax in.
• The hotel is more than 200 yards from the turning! But once found it was a pleasure to stay in.
