  • Location to ocean and transportation.
  • Ceiling fan did not work.

“Very clean with maid service every other day. I did not expect that with a condo. Good view and close access to 3 pools and the ocean and beach.”

  • The view and the beach are under-rated.
  • 2006 - 2007 undergoing renovations. Streets outside Charlotte Amelia are not pedestrian friendly.

“As a condo rental, your experience may vary WRT the owner. However, the units have a nice view of the bay and many of the cays offshore. Sapphire beach was certainly much less crowded than Megans Bay and the snorkeling was better. Also, good snorkeling at nearby Coki Beach. Being close to Red hook makes it convenient for the ferries to other islands. Red hook has some good restaurants that are much less likely to be jammed with cruisers as in Charlotte Amelia. I gave the staff a "5" not due to performance, but because it is a condo and not a resort with a night desk and concierge.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[3] • Location:[7]

  • Independence allowed in our stay, total freedom from any obligation.
  • No check-in procedure, office closed.

“Self-serve hotel, not sound-proof (small children, late night party people), clean, great views from everywhere. Do not expect amenities, restaurant on sight, taxi available to anywhere.”

  • Nothing.
  • Private condo rental, not hotel, not done through sapphire village office, taxi didn't know location.

“The view was spectacular. It was not a hotel. When we arrived nobody in office could locate reservation. Then they called Bernie at paradise rentals and she said she would be right up. but it started to rain so she didn't come. Finally we were told it was unit 210 and the door was open. After we were in the unit she called and asked me to come back down to her office and pay the taxes.”
