• Pool area nice.
• Can't trust staff.

“When we first walked into the Marina Fiesta Resort it looked inviting. The staff could have been more attentive, but they did help us with our luggage. After we check in, the harassment began. Every time we stepped into the lobby we were asked to see one of their timeshare properties. It was extremely annoying. The pool area was nice and the staff there were good at what they do. I would avoid the buffet as they leave the serving spoons for each dish out and I saw birds standing on them and picking at them and then reused by patrons. Then the nightmare began. We went out for dinner one night and while we were gone, a hotel employee entered our room and stole a blackberry and went through our belongings, leaving them all over the floor. We asked security to come up (we found out later there is no real security, all the young employees just switch jobs as needed) and then came up and told us we probably lost it and started to go through our things. They dug through our drawers and purses and then accused us of trashing the room. We had them run off the entry log to our room and found sometime entered using a key card while we are at dinner. At that point the security guy told us he was going to call the police on us because the room was trashed. This went on and on until we finally kicked him out of our room. The next day we decided to leave as they wouldn't help us, wouldn't change the key cards to others didn't have access to our rooms and continued to turn off our room phones so we couldn't call out. We ended up feeling violated and unsafe in this place. Steer clear!”

• The pool area was lovely, and the exercise room good.
• The staff neglected to clean our room one day, and the noise level was so bad at night we had to close balcony door and turn on AC despite great wealth.

“Despite being a fairly nice hotel, the noise at night prevented us from sleeping, even with the door closed and the AC blasting. I will never stay there again.”

• Convenient to marina, shops, and restaurants.

“The hotel is located in a central spot that is convenient to just about everything. It is located at the Marina, making it accessible for the early morning calls for fishing. A short walk to many restaurants and a shopping mall. The hotel has a large pool with a swim up bar and food service. The rooms have great balconies with a wonderful view of the Marina. Suites with kitchens are available. The staff was friendly and helpful. We plan to return to this hotel again.”

“I overall liked staying here, would stay again. Would try to observe who is next to us so we are able to sleep at night, or maybe have security that roams the hotel for early morning disturbances.”

• The swim up bar.
• The ridiculous charges.

“It was a great hotel with a great location and a great pool. But they charged us $236 for a comforter because a little bit of henna tattoo rubbed off on it. I was upset about the $10 per lost room key charge, as any American traveler should be, but then the $236 blew me away. The manager even admitted that the comforter was probably only worth $80, which I probably would have been okay with.”

• You can walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, mall, and marina from this hotel.
• Of the five hot tubs one was just warm and the rest were no warmer than the pool which is not heated.

“Location. You can walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, mall, and marina from this hotel. Hard Rock and Cabo Wabo are easy to walk to from the hotel; the only taxi I took was from the airport and back to the airport. The hotel does have constuction going on the other side of the street so bring ear plugs if you are very light sleeper.”

• Ability to accommodate requests and the location.
• Downtown music and noise jumps across the water. It is very noisy.

“From the moment we arrived we were accommodated and taken care of. I asked to be switched to a room with a view and was given the most breathtaking view of the marina imaginable. The hotel staff was there when needed. It was casual and lovely at the same time. Pool food was very yummy drinks strong. I can't say enough about the hotel. It is noisy though with music and sound coming from the downtown young crowd. The sound skips across the marina water nothing you can do about it.”

“The location is thrown selling point of this property. No need for rent-a-car at all. Walking to dining, drinking, beach and easy access to golf through hotel taxis makes is very easy. So close to the main Marina boardwalk but very private at the same time.”

• Our original room was not great but we expressed our displeasure and they were very accommodating in moving us to a nicer room in a better spot.
• Our 1st room had a fairly worn appearance to it and a little dirty. Being in the marina, it can be very loud at night.

“The staff is either very good or very bad. First the good, the concierge was great, extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk was also helpful and friendly as well. However, the other front desk agent was not helpful at all and actually rude. Hotel overall is nice, deserving of the 3 star level. Great pool area, nice lobby, decent food and drinks. If you can deal with the surrounding noise of the clubs and restaurants around the hotel then the location is great, within walking distance to a number of good restaurants as well as boating activities.”

• Beautiful property and probably the best location in cab being right on the marina (we love to fish!).
• Hot tubs at the pool were not hot, but there is a hot one in the gin at the top of the hotel. Open air.

“Excellent value. Very nice property in a great location! It's close to everything in cab! Very nice landscaping and pool area.”
