• It was beautiful.
• Getting to and from the lobby and room was complicated. Rooms were mediocre.

“It's a beautiful space that takes your breath away. The hotel/timeshare sits on a cliff making it challenging for some to make it up to the lobby. They give fold carts and provide rides, but the rides are rough and very windy. I found this to be inconvenient.”

• Far from downtown.

• Beautiful views. Great food. Relaxing, fun, great weather. Mexican people are very accommodating and friendly. Safe. Memorable.
• Sometimes too noisy. Expensive.

“Geographically, you are at the tip where the world ends. Breath taking views. Most beautiful view of the Pacific ocean that you could experience. Have been going to Sunset beach for 7 years. Has become much more popular over the years much to my dismay for it seems that the more popular a resort becomes the service and quality of service suffers. I avoid the pools at Sunset beach because it is too crowded an noisy. Staff was fairly attentive. Restaurants particularly La Frieda are good. Chef does an extraordinary job. Also the restaurant La Nou is excellent. Overall I would recommend the resort.”

• Nicely appointed, and great views.
• Golf carts.

“It was a nice place, but the staff wasn't particularly helpful/friendly, they are pushy about the timeshare presentations, and it's kind of a pain to have to take the golf carts to get around, particularly with your luggage. I like a little more independence when I travel.”

• Never again will I go to a Pueblo Bonito Resort.

• Gorgeous hotel and amazing service. I would recommend it to anyone.
• I loved everything !

“Gorgeous hotel and there was a feeling of privacy everywhere on the grounds. The beach and pools are gorgeous and although you can't swim on the beach, it's so easy and quick to get to the sister hotel. I thought it would be a hassle, but it wasn't at all. The staff was great and I highly recommend saying here. I can't wait to go back.”

• The swimming pools were very nice.
• The golf carts that transported guests were noisy at night.

“The resort location and grounds were impressive, built along a hillside with beautiful views of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pools were impressive. The timeshare presentations revealed roomy condos and homes, but those were only available for timeshare guests.”

• Can use neighboring hotel. Spa nice.
• In order to charge, you had to give your signature electronically. Only hotel I've ever stayed at that requires this. I refused. Bad experience.

“Hotel is inconveniently located. Once there, given the terrain, you need to travel within the hillside resort by calling to be picked up by drivers in golf carts. A nuisance. Most important, hotel's requirement that one sign one's signature electronically, so that a facsimile of one's signature can be accessed thought resort for purposes of charging is enough for me not to want to stay at this hotel. When I objected, one desk staff member argumentative and rude. Otherwise, hotel staff, drivers etc. very friendly.”

• Just a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff and dinning is good at the hotel.
• None.

“This hotel was great over all. Good food and the service along with landscape was awesome. The shuttles to the sister companies was very helpful. Everything needed was at the hotel. I would recommend a movies under the stars, since there was a beautiful sunset every night.”

• Stunning architecture and views.
• Very hilly. Lots of climbing or waiting for golf carts.

“Very impressive if not very practical hotel. Note: please do not use Maritur shuttle service. They didn't arrive at the airport to pick me up. They didn't arrive at the hotel - despite my confirmation with them - to take me to the airport. Almost missed my flight, which would have been a disaster.”
