• Pool.
• Everything else.

“This was the worst vacation I have ever had. Service was no existent and they were the most unorganized hotels that I have ever stayed at. Didn't pick us up at the airport. Over booked and sent us to a sister resort. Could not get coffee rooms were never cleaned before 4:00 pm. Paid for a suite and got a deluxe room with no view and right next to the elevators. Prices were over the top for food and drink if you could ever get service. Foul smell coming from the floor drain and had to keep a towel over it all week. I could go on but you get the picture. Do not stay here or at any of the resorts.”

• Good air conditioning in the room.
• Poor service, food and access.

“This hotel is out of the way. The staff is more interested in selling their overpriced condos than they are in providing good service. The food selection is limited and not very good. Finisterra, Westin and Hilton are much better values as I have stayed at all of them. This was my 3rd trip to Cabo San Lucas this year and 50th+ in the last 10 years.”

• Excellent location, very good and friendly service.
• There was (noisy) construction going on, but we were compensated for it by the hotel management.

“The Estancia is a very nice 5-star hotel. We don't have small children anymore so the fact that this hotel was occupied primarily by couples (like ourselves was very welcomed. The Estancia is building several new wings and is opening them as they are (nearly) completed. In fact we were the first people to stay in our suite. I had to plug the phone in myself and there was no instructions for using the in-room safe, no blow dryer (although the mounting bracket was there. We did not know about the construction adjacent to our building when we booked, but were satisfied to receive complimentary "all-inclusive" rights to make up for our inconvenience. In the end it was GREAT. The new (large) pool and 5-star restaurant were open, the place was fully staffed so we had a waiter almost totally dedicated to our every want and need. This made it a truly unique vacation, and despite the construction I would probably put up with it again just to experience this privacy. This amounted to just less than $100 US dollars per day. All in all a great getaway.”
