• Beautiful and well-kept resort. The service staff works hard and long hours to keep it this way and I can appreciate that!
• Crowded pools and beaches, sub-standard food and service in restaurants.

“Please keep in mind that we went to this resort as a couple, to get away and relax. We are not hard to please. But we feel that the 5 star rating is a bit over-reaching. While we do not want to come across too negative, we do feel that potential guests need to know the facts before choosing this resort for vacation of relaxation and pampering. Positives: Beautiful scenery (on the resort) as expected; Well maintained and clean surroundings. Overall, service was adequate. For example, the room was beautifully decorated and well-kept, housekeeping did a good job each day. She came by 2 times per day once to really clean-up and then again at night for towel delivery and good night chocolates. Because the resort is so large and spread-out, they do have trolleys for transportation. They run constantly and stop at strategic locations so that people can ride instead of hiking the distance. Plenty of bars. Negatives:Very large. Very overwhelming. By the time you really know where you are going and what is available to you as a guest, it is time to leave(we stayed 7 days).TOO Crowded the 4 large pools were full every day, the beach was packed and I mean packed. If you like to get up at 5:30AM to wrap your towel around a chair (as most did) so you can have a place to sit for the day, this is the place for you. Most of the restaurants available required reservations. Furthermore, it is recommended that you reserve early in your stay. Absolutely, do this!!!!! We arrived late afternoon and decided to wait until the next morning to go back and make our reservations through Guest Services. Keep in mind that this was within 24 hours of arriving. Even at that, we were not able to get in until 8:00-9:30PM on any given reservation, and had to wait until the day before we left to get the one restaurant that we really wanted. Then was very disappointed with the food in all, as well as overall service. We found the best place to eat was one of the International Buffets best service and best food. Which required no reservation. Outside buffets were lacking with few choices and the same thing everyday. Of course, you cannot drink the tap water, so you must rely on the bottled water delivered to your room daily. Not enough was given for two people had to find the girl and ask for more, a lot! Also, things like enough towels, washcloths, coffee in room were not made available, without asking for them each day, even with a Great tip. No ice in machines, except for the first day there. Our tour rep. did not show for the appointment he scheduled with us to offer/advise on excursions, as well as confirm our ride back to the airport and flight home. When we called the number he left with us, he was rude to my husband and never really helped with anything. On the day of departure, the transportation through this tour guide agency was almost 2 hours late picking us up.....needless to say, panic was setting in! When the bus did arrive, they acted like it was no big deal, but then drove what felt like 70 miles per hour over horrible roads to get us to the airport on time. If you want a relaxing, pampering vacation for one, two, or many..........don't go here. If you are looking for crowds, lots of partying, and sub-standard food and service, Enjoy!”
