“My girlfriend and I stayed here and absolutely loved everything. It has beautiful grounds, huge pools, friendly staff, incredible beach, clean modern rooms. We never had any problems finding lounge chairs around the pool or on the beach. My only complaints are that there is only one ATM on the premises and it was broken for 2 days so I had no access to cash. We both liked the food in the buffet and thought the staff was exceptionally friendly. We will certainly return.”

“The Cayena Resort, which is inside the complex is 3 1/2 stars. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty Palapas (Straw Umbrellas). As Forest Gump said Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. This goes perfect in describing the staff. Some are pleasant and others kept dropping hints about tips! The food is kind of bad. There is no variety, on some nights they would have two levels of the buffet table with just lettuce. I guess that is fine if you are vegetarian or on a diet. Lots of fried food and liver! The fruit is very good. The room needed a make-over; however, you cannot expect a 5 star treatment out of a 3 star hotel. Based on my research, the staff problem is found on most of the hotels, maybe it is just their personality here. Overall, if you do not care about interacting with the staff and you a very light eater I would go for the beautiful beach.”

• I loved the help staff, the room, the surroundings, the beach, etc.
• Not enough rafts in the pool, people get up at 5am and sleep in the good chairs and take the rafts back to their room.

“Fabulous! The help will do everything they can, but the maids do not speak English. If you ask for shampoo, you get soap, and they tend to ignore the "No molestere" hung on the door. But, a great bunch of waiters/waitresses, bartenders, always helpful. I stayed in the honeymoon suite, 3rd floor, ocean view. The room was perfect; I finally was not fighting with my husband for sink space, because we each had our own. And we had a huge walk-in closet/dressing room, so we were not fighting over hangers. And we had a Jacuzzi out on our terrace, we took out the light bulbs, instant privacy. Food was more than fine, do not be afraid of all-inclusive. It is not Le Because Fin or Tribeca, but it is close, and the scenery and extremely sweet and helpful waiter people more than make up for same (as does the freshness of the food).”
