“Impression was of a 1 star hotel. When we checked out, we overheard the desk clerk tell a potential customer on the phone that the hotel had been recently renovated which left us to believe either that she was being dishonest or that we had been given the room that was not yet done. Continental. breakfast was of very poor quality. We travel fairly extensively and stay at Best Westerns from time to time, most recently in Chicago. This was far below standard.”

“Generally not clean in hallways and somewhat lobby. Had to hold our noses going to our room. Stairway were the same. Room was very stuffy even though we aired the room out and left window open during the night. Good breakfast, however, with lots of variety and clean.”

“The staff was pleasant, the room was very small, no room to move around, the bed bothered both mine and my husbands back. the bathroom was hardly big enough to sit on the toilet. however the room was fairly clean, and the fridge worked well.”

“Room with 2 queen size beds, refrigerator in hutch, space for microwave (no microwave present). One floor lamp was missing bulb, faucet leaking, drain underneath sink leaking on floor. Odor in corridors. Staff friendly.”

“Star rating is too high for this somewhat rundown hotel.”

“This hotel was adequate. With the exception of the fact that the shower toilet area (separated from the sink) was very cramped, the rest of the room was very large, great for small children and the fridge in the room was handy. The hotel was supposedly fully renovated in 2007, so with that in mind, it didn't seem quite as clean-looking as it should have been. It was by no means dirty just not as fresh as it should have looked being renovated only a year ago. Nothing really wrong with the hotel and the staff was friendly, just nothing special about it either. stayed at a Holiday inn Express the next night, same star rating, but far nicer hotel.”

“We were very displeased with the room the moment we stepped in the door. The room barely looked like it had been cleaned. The sheets were dirty and there were still items left from previous guests in the room. We went to the front desk to voice our displeasure and the clerk assigned a new room with no concern for our dissatisfaction. The new room was directly next door to the older room and was in similar condition. The sheets were dirty and the room was again barely cleaned. I have had several great experiences but this was the first that was not good. I will definitely not recommend this Hotel to anyone and I would recommend that to lowers the star rating of this Hotel to something more in the 1 star range.”

“Not a destination place-but for an overnight or two-it was ok. Reasonably priced. Best part was the free breakfast if you wanted it.”

“Smell of cigarette in corridor down to room, noisy upstairs neighbors, large bedroom area but extremely tiny bathroom, great location for shoppers, pleasant surroundings outside.”

“This hotel was no where near 2 1/2 stars-the parking lot, hallways and front foyer were nasty, poorly constructed and dirty. The rooms were clean, but basic.”

“This hotel was what I expected for the money, but I would have liked a better breakfast included at least and may be a restaurant on the grounds, but otherwise it was okay.”

“Could hear guy next door snoring all night. Could hear his TV which was on low as if it was in the same room as me. Continental breakfast, no fruit, only kids cereal, worst yet. Staff didn't know directions. Closest restaurants 2 to 5 miles away. Best Western used to be good, this was the worst of my whole trip.”

“This hotel was ok. The bathroom was so small it was impossible to close the door without stepping into the tub. It wasn't a luxury hotel by any means, but was very clean. Other than the size of the bathroom it was acceptable and I was pleased.”
