The Residence Inn Hartford is located in the suburb of Windsor across the street from Unisys, two miles from Aetna and Kaman and three miles from ABB. Downtown Hartford is six miles south of the hotel. Courtesy airport transportation is available 7am-7pm Monday through Friday with advance reservations required.

Studios are large open rooms with one queen bed, full bath and furnished living/dining area with single sofa bed. Some studios also have a fireplace. Penthouse suites are bilevel units with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and double Murphy (pulldown) bed, full bath and furnished living room with dining area and fireplace on the main level. Two bedroom penthouse suites are bilevel units with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and one queen bed in a separate bedroom, full bath and furnished living room with dining area, fireplace and sofa bed on the main level. All accomodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishes and glassware, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. Pets allowed with non-refundable cleaning fee of USD 100 for studios and USD 200 for penthouse suites. / A

The full kitchen was awesome. Didn't expect the full amenities offered.
Barely enough room to walk around sofa bed.

“Great place to stay when traveling with kids. The staff was fantastic and the complimentary full breakfast was a bonus. All the food was fresh and hot. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.”

$25 taxi drive from airport.

Not much.
Over priced, no computer and printer that worked as desk clerk that didn't know anything about lobby computer the house cleaning staff knew more.

“Poor, but it's not all the hotels fault, it snowed and everyone was working as hard as they could to accommodate the guests, I expect when you pay for the quality of a Marriott Hotel they have a computer and printer for customers to us to check in and check on flights and flight schedules. This hotel was really off the main road hard to find not well marked.”

Free wireless connection and kitchen.
Smoke back draft from adjacent suite fireplace.

“We stayed in suite 1013 which was nice enough except for the back-draft smoke that poured into the room from either the upstairs or next-door suite. Ironic situation given the "smoke-free" advertising. Had to keep the windows open on a fairly cold night. Very difficult sleeping.”

Very clean. Wonderful friendly, helpful staff.
Sorry, I can not think of anything that we did not like.

“Wonderful place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The only regret we had was that we had not stayed for 2 nights instead of 1.”

Very clean, quiet.
Not convenient to the airport. Transportation was a problem.

“Charming New England all suites hotel. Quiet and somewhat remote location. It was very clean and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Pick up you car before you go to this hotel. The location is good for daytrips to New England. The breakfast buffet was good. This is not a good choice if your arriving late or have plane delays as staffing is minimal at night.”

Excellent facility and staff, all hotels should be like this one!
Nothing bad to report.

“Great staff, the hotel manager meet me at the front desk and make me feel very welcome. Best value in Hartford area, I would not hesitate to pay full rate at this location.”
