• Very convenient to DC attractions.
• No biggie, but TV was small and difficult to see while lying in bed, too low.

“My family enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were good size. The location to all DC attractions was awesome. Definitely recommend.”

• Convenient to the events I attended.
• Parking is expensive but on the week end there is street parking.

“Very nice hotel, great location. Very close to all the attractions. You can simply walk around. Parking is a bit expensive, $30 but you can always look for a free weekend street parking.”

• Internet access woefully inadequate. For this price, I expect free internet access.

• Very clean and a great Downtown location.
• Nickel and dimmed for everything.

“The hotel staff was friendly and courteous, the Downtown location is an easy walk to the museums. But the $30 a day parking and expensive internet service was a turn off.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean also.
• The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything in all the surrounding rooms/hallways.

“The hotel was very clean, convenient to all the DC attractions, and the staff including the valet were very friendly and attentive. The only real issue for us was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on around us in the rooms next to us and a lot of commotion (i.e. kids running and yelling in the hallways, doors slamming, etc.). Looking past that I would be happy to stay again at this hotel.”

• Staff was friendly and accommodating, location was excellent, especially to the metro.
• Double rooms had 2 full size beds, not 2 queen size beds.

• The staff were absolutely friendly, professional and helpful.
• That there was no refrigerator as in Australia every hotel has a fridge even 2 stars.

“Clean, elegant, courteous staff, helpful staff members and delightful rooms. I just wish they had a microwave and fridge. I guess I'm not used to hotels that do not provide these basic requirements as in Australia Every hotel has them. But despite that I enjoyed my stay immensely. Thank you very much.”

• The concierge was a very knowledgeable woman who was extremely helpful and friendly.
• I never found out if there was a free continental breakfast available. There was nothing in writing to say there was.

“Because this hotel is adjacent to the Metro access, getting around was very easy. The room was very nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable.”

• The location was excellent and nice room size and very comfortable beds.
• No exhaust fan in bathroom, could hear noise from hallway.

“This hotel is in the heart of Downtown D.C. with access to the Metro right outside the front door. It is centrally located and within walking distance to many major sightseeing areas such as the National Mall. The rooms are very generous in size and the down comforter and bedding are extremely comfortable. There are no views of D.C. from the room and some equipped with a refrigerator. Every morning there are red and green apples at the front desk and in the evening a glass jar full of assorted chocolate candies. The health club is very nice and headphone with new ear pads are available free of charge to hook up to the individual televisions on the cardio equipment. There is also an indoor pool. All in all this is a very comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay when visiting our Nation's capital.”

• The hotel staff were super friendly and beyond helpful. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated.
• There was nothing that my son and I did not like.

“The hotel is worth more than the 3-star rating that it is given. Accommodations and service were excellent. The experience was a dream for my son and I. We cannot wait to go back. Marriott is a name synonymous with excellence.”

• This hotel is convenient to access national mall and museums.
• Valet parking is only available.

“DC accessibility was very good. It is located in the mall. Service was also good. Totally I was satisfied with this hotel.”

• No microwaves to warm up left over food.

“I enjoyed my short stay at the Marriott. The rooms were comfortable and provided a delightful sleep. The only complaint that I had was there weren't any microwaves to warm up leftover food that was brought back from restaurants.”

• Great location in the middle of Capitol Hill Area.
• There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

“Excellent hotel in the middle of Washington D.C.'s Capitol Hill area. This hotel is approximately 4 blocks from all the museums and the White House. Very close to everything. The hotel was clean, attractive, modern, and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to those interested in visiting Washington D.C.”
