“Business center program for printing was impossible to use. Also, downloaded documents could not be saved easily. The business center was well below the standard of the Hilton Gardens.”

“Good location for my business needs, not very close to a Metro station, but close to main streets; not a lot of restaurants immediately available and the hotel restaurant and bar were not all that attentive for a woman traveling alone. I might have ordered from the bar menu when I had a drink, but no one checked back with me once I had read the menu. $50 hold placed on my credit card for 5 days after check-out; $5.50 charge for water I did not take in the room.”

“Keys did not work initially in room or late hours door, no alarm clock in room at first, no paper showed up first day. Bathroom was a bit cramped, etc., but was mostly made up for by good service.”

“We were originally assigned a very small corner room which was upgraded after we made the request for change the next day. Also, though it was to be a non-smoking room, there was smoke filtering through the vents. Our first night in this hotel was less than pleasant.”

“Overall a pleasant experience. The bathroom was very small (barely room to open the door without hitting the toilet). Bed was comfy! Works well if you are planning just to sleep there and sight see the rest of the day.”

“This hotel was a great deal for the rate received on Priceline which is why I can't really complain. However, if I were to pay a typical Hilton hotels rate, the room would definitely not have cut it. While the bathrooms & overall room-size are quite small and the bathroom a bit smelly, they're functional for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable, but there was a lot of ambient noise from the street & within the hotel. For a single night, all was good in terms of practicality & location to have a quick tour of the town.”

“The service was friendly, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. One small complaint, my bathtub started filling during only a brief shower.”

“The bathrooms were small, manageable. We were lucky to get free WiFi in our room by logging on in the lobby to the free network and staying connected for free in our room on the 5th floor. Otherwise (as of 7/2009) internet is $9.95 per day! No fridge in the room. There is no pool or hot tub.”

“The hotel had undergone a remodel before the latest inauguration. Hallways on floors were narrow and ceiling height low. The room was small, but clean. The remodel appeared to be low-budget and focused on the bathroom. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was probably a bargain, given rates in Washington, D.C., so I do have complaints. I don't feel the hotel is accurate.”

“This was a nice and quiet hotel that was within walking distance of downtown Washington DC and all of the museums and monuments. The room was very clean and comfortable, but rather small. The staff was very helpful and friendly and more than willing to give out extra welcome cookies on request. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hotel that is close to all of the sights in DC.”

“The hotel was moderately upscale and I was pleased with the overall layout of the room. There was ample space for 2 adults and 2 children to sleep comfortably. The room I stayed was in close to the elevator which I preferred.”
