  • NOTHING!
  • Rude, dirty, had roaches, etc

“This hotel is horrible! The lady at check in was rude and unfriendly, to say the least. The room was dirty, TV control would not work, bathroom was molded and dirty, we killed a roach in the room, and the room looked like it was being remodeled, but was unfinished. (There were spot painted, and the bathroom had sheetrock put in, but no paint applied. The room was a dump to say the least.”

“Terrible, terrible motel. Have always found hoteliers to be accommodating.”

  • The location was o.k., the grounds were nice.
  • The bathroom was very old and musty smelling.

“This was an old hotel and could be kept up much nicer than it is. When we checked in there are 3 of us and when I inquired about a room with 2 beds, I was told we would have to pay an additional 20 dollars. Overall they were not very helpful. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and a few packaged pastries.”

  • Nothing was likeable about this poorly kept motel.
  • The person at the reception desk was rude, abrupt and uncooperative. Definitely not a people person.

“On this trip we've had so many excellent experiences that we were extremely disappointed upon arrival at this joint. It was made even worse when the rude reception person asked for an additional $50 to upgrade us to a two bed room. The room we upgraded to was dingy, dirty and in need of major repairs and paint. Never again will we go to this terrible place.”

  • Lobby was attached o living quarters and you could smell some kind of awful food being cooked. Smelled of a 3rd world country. I know.

  • It was cheap.
  • It was cheap.

“This is an older Travelodge that is in need of a total make over. While part of our room (one wall, and the bathroom) have recently been redone, the job was a bad one. The paint that they used did not match and looked bad. My wife and I didn't even stay, we left and drove back home-through the rain and the middle of the night with a crying baby. That's how much we didn't want to stay there!”

  • Parking close to room.
  • Bad fluorescent lights flashing off and on while sleeping.

“We were disappointed with this hotel and our stay there. The owners were nice, but very difficult to understand. The microwave and refrigerator were stuck in a closet, not ready to be used. The bad fluorescent lights kept flashing off and on and kept us up at night. When we first arrived, we had trouble with the toilet backing up. Not a good experience for us.”

“The pool looked nice but was closed. Friendly nice big front yard. Room very basic simple old a little run down too expensive and the room was dirty!”

  • Quiet and walking distance to restaurant and fairgrounds.
  • Rooms smell like ashtrays.

“This hotel is a good inexpensive choice when looking for a place to basically sleep and shower. Restaurants and Fairgrounds are within easy walking distance. The hotel is quiet day and night and parking is not a problem. This was my 3rd stay here with no problems.”

  • It was close to our destination and the pool was nice.
  • I think the price was way too high for the room.

“Convenient place to stay if you are going to the mid-state fair. The hotel next door is newer and offered the same room for $30 less.”

  • Nothing.
  • The room was dingy and smelled old. Electrical outlets were mostly not working.

“I will not recommend this hotel to any of the people I know. Like I said earlier it looked dirty and smelled old and moldy. Most of the electrical outlets did not work. I believe the that the people that runs the hotel knew about this, because there were extension cords everywhere. The back view was horrible and I saw garbage, therefore we kept windows closed. Bathroom did not have an exhaust. The maid never cleaned our room and did not provide new sheets for the duration of our stay. And I think the room needs to be fumigated, because we had bites all over our body. We stayed at the hotel, only to sleep, we stayed out mostly. I am very dissatisfied with this hotel.”

  • The room was larger than usual. The pool was close by.
  • The room had a new paint smell that was so strong we could not stay.

“There was such a strong paint smell in the room we were given that within a few minutes we had headaches. The management said there were no other rooms available. They said no one else had complained. They were neither friendly nor helpful.”

  • The room was spicy and the heater worked great.
  • The average rate online was deceiving and the hotel staff had no personality.

“This was a small hotel that was big in space, in the room. The heater and a/c worked great. The hotel staff was not very enthusiastic or friendly. I recommend this hotel as a place to stop on business trips or for a family to spend the night.”
