• Very clean and pet-friendly (this was the most important item to me for I have a dog which, due to health reasons, couldn't be left at home).
• Washing machine didn't thoroughly spin water out of clothes (#3).

“I thought that the staff, although reserved, were polite and professional. Whenever I asked for the "basics" (i.e.. more coffee and towels), my needs were met promptly. I've already recommended this hotel to my coworkers for their future stays in Charleston. Although the hotel is in Mt. Pleasant, it is very centrally located to all beaches and other attractions of the area. I really couldn't have made a better hotel selection. ”

• The people there were helpful when my car broke down, and when we had bugs in our room.
• Roaches in our first room.

• It was clean and the appliances in the kitchen worked well.
• The kitchen was not well supplied, a ceiling fan was not well attached to the ceiling, and there was no cold water or pitcher.

“Although this hotel was clean and had a few nice perks (3 televisions in the three room suite, 5 phones, nice kitchen appliances), I also felt it was lacking in several departments. The advertised pool would have been crowded with five people in it. The room itself was in disrepair (missing cupboard front, wobbly ceiling fan, water stains on the ceiling, no cold water). The express continental breakfast was very skimpy and not frequently re-supplied Plus, we found the kitchen supplies lacking in our suite; there were only two forks, no pitchers, no bowls.... All in all, we were not impressed.”
