  • The effort the staff has.
  • Mean, uncaring, and judgmental guest.

“Okay, so the resort is a few miles out of town. But when I was working there, kids did not prepare the meals, young pre-adults served the meals and made some of the deserts. There are different chefs for each course of the meal and they are not kids! They worked very hard for breakfast in bed couples, no matter how the weather was outside. All of our staff did the best we could for you to enjoy your get away. The rest was up to the guest of how they wanted to enjoy their trip and you have to remember that these resorts have been in business since what the early-middle of the 1900's, but have been updated and have been remodeled. And these resorts are also where the heart shaped jacuzzi originated. All in all, with the effort of other people at your feet trying to get you to enjoy yourself and loved one this place is great!”

  • The staff.
  • Suite was a bit far from the main building so we had to drive. Cove Haven has a shuttle service door to door.

“We have been going to Caesars Pocono Resorts Cove Haven for 10 years and decided to try out Paradise Stream. We found the staff to be extremely accommodating and helpful. Our room (Champagne Tower) was exceptionally clean and everything worked as advertised. A recent upgrade of flat screen TV in the bedroom was a welcome surprise. We thought the entertainment was adequate but nothing to brag about. The food was fair with a large selection. I found the fishing in lake Eden to be a lot of fun with a large trout population and, some fish with tags that gave you prizes (although I didn't catch any of them.). Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and we are returning this weekend for a little getaway and a bit of fishing.”

  • It's located in the middle of nowhere & totally out dated.

“Oh my goodness. I don't know where to begin! This place is far from a romantic resort. My husband and I decided to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary there. Big mistake! It is an ancient tower of doom. I think the last renovations took place in the early 70s. Everything in the room was just screaming for an update. It was a horrible experience.”

  • Nice place to relax with someone you love.
  • Terrible food.

“We had a nice time, we enjoyed our room. It was clean and comfortable. Had a nice time at the resort only complaint the food is awful. The need a decent chef at this place. I got tomato soup and it was the worse soup I have every had. Also they didn't deliver the surprise basket my husband got for me. He had to ask several times and finally later that night after dinner the delivered it. It's a nice place to get away and relax but don't go for the food!”

  • We loved our private pool in our room!
  • We hated leaving!

“Wow! Every time we stay here we fall in love all over again! It's such an awesome atmosphere in any season! Here are just some of the features of this resort: A lot of rooms have swimming pools right in them & almost all have heart-shaped Jacuzzis for-two, saunas, refrigerators & fireplaces! If you have AAA membership you can get a 20% discount! If you're a Starwood Resorts member you can 50% off for just 1000 star points. This resort & the other Caesars Pocono Resorts are owned by Sheraton. If your workplace is a member of the Getaway Club you can also get 50% off that way, too. It's a couples-only resort & all-inclusive so you pay one price & everything included: tax, gratuity, all-you-can-eat dinners, social directed group activities, nightly entertainment (usually a band & dancing or a comedian), breakfast-in-bed, late night snacks, theme nights (Welcome, Romance, Mardi Gras, Tropical Beach, Roman night), plus a later all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast in the dining room if you like. Some of the on-site free activities included are: tanning beds, water-skiing, speedboat rides, paddle boats, rowboats, sailboats, fishing, 9 hole regulation golf course, golf driving range, miniature golf, tennis (indoor & outdoor), racquetball, swimming pools (indoor & outdoor), fitness equipment, hot tubs, basketball, volleyball, bicycles-built-for-2 or 1, archery, billiards or pool, bocce ball, ping pong, roller skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice skating (indoor & outdoor), tobogganing, snow tubing, wireless internet access, 24 hour coffee, tea & hot chocolate. For a fee there is also: an arcade, horseback riding, skiing, room service, massage therapy, horse-drawn carriage rides, etc. There are lots to do so you won't get bored. The rooms are so unique with swimming pools, Jacuzzis, fireplaces & saunas that some people just stay in the rooms. It's such a romantic place to enjoy with your special someone that I can't recommend it enough. Go often with the one you love. You won't be sorry!”

  • Nice romantic rooms.
  • Do not eat in their restaurant.

“Rooms were clean - they did not change sheets daily, what I expected thought. Nice small pool, sauna, good looking ground. The biggest disappointment - food in the restaurant. I swear, they served frozen veggies for dinner, and choices were the same for 3 days. Appetizers wee small, and you really could not order two - only one - so it was not eat all you can. Nice place, bad food briefly.”

  • everything else

“Food overcooked and poor service. Rooms grossly outdated. We were in champagne towers. Entertainment played 70's music, comedian was anything but funny. Rooms have VCR in them. Snowmobiling was on a softball field where you go in circles. Drinks overly expensive. You have to buy logs for fireplaces. Beds were uncomfortable due to age, pillows were hard and comforters were hard. Not a cozy environment. Room was romantic but extremely outdated. I would not recommend paradise stream to anyone under 50. Bingo is the entertainment at night, followed by videos of Cher and Tina Turner. The only people who seemed to like the place was older couples. The Lobster was extremely overcooked, the first night we didn't even get dressing for our salads and they served cheap pasta. Kids prepare the meals which are tasteless. We complained and got a free stay at another resort although we really do not want to return. I would recommend going somewhere else.”

  • I liked the reception people.
  • Everything.

“The resort is a horror show, including the room which is outdated called Cleopatra's Tower. It is far from what Caesar's advertise on the website. The room was dirty, layers of dust, old sheets, hair in the champagne towers. Nothing seemed to be in the right place, no vanity pack, malfunctioning lights, outdated television, old towels, lack of lighting outside the room, located far from reception and dining area. The food is horrible and inedible. ”
