• Swimming pool /free parking/nearby eateries/gas stations.
• Water bugs.

“I won't ever utilize that Days Inn again and we'll tell our friends to not go there also. The staff was kind and their service was up to par but I hate it for them to have to work in such a horrible environment. I can't believe that I actually saw a water bug crawling on the railing outside our room.”

• The pool was nice.
• The rooms smelled like mildew and the bathrooms were moldy.

“If you are looking to stay in Mt. Pleasant and you are a person that is a teen or in your early twenties then this may be a hotel that you should look into. If you have a family or you are looking to relax this is not the place to stay! It was loud and filled with parties and the rooms smelled pretty bad.”

• I loved having Huddle House right there for meals. Excellent breakfast!
• I would like irons and ironing boards in the room, you should not have to pick it up at the office.

“Moderately priced hotel, good location and the Huddle House Restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff and it was quiet which I enjoyed.”

“It was a very friendly place. My kids loved the pool. It has a Huddle House attached which is open 24 hrs. It was really close to the beach and plenty of shopping.”

• Condition of the hotel, the non-smoking room was a smoking room, no complimentary breakfast, room smells, no proper lighting.

“Our hotel room has no outside view. The hotel room was in the hallway. The non smoking room smells like a smoking room. Bedspread, lampshade had cigarettes burns. The overall look of the hotel is more like a trucker accommodation.”

• Location. Room was clean.
• Toilet would not flush first time. Maid left cleaning products in room.

“Outside in stairwell, smelled of beer or urine. Could wash down weekly. Front desk employees not very friendly or upbeat. Restaurant employees were wonderful, restaurant could be kept more clean. I am not sure I would stay there again.”

• Hot water didn't last. Room 122 maids hang in front of door in the am.

• Very nice inside for a cheap hotel. Comfortable. Friendly service.
• The outside of the hotel needs updating, maybe some landscaping.

“For the area this hotel was very moderately priced and in a good area. Service was good and the employees were very friendly. On the inside, the rooms were as nice as higher priced hotels. The outside needs updating but it is what's inside that count, right!”

• Conveniently located from Charleston, very decent price.
• Key cards didn't work the second day. Had to be replaced.

“The hotel was located close to Charleston for an affordable price. I got what I expected. It was clean. The key cards didn't work the second day and needed to be replaced. For some reason the clerk at the front desk seemed displeased with me for having to replace my key cards, although it was no fault of my own. The housekeepers started coming around about 9, two hours before checkout time, and interrupted an intimate moment. Use the "do not disturb" tag. All in all a decent stay.”

• Unclean, unfriendly staff, poor internet connection, and priced too high for its quality.

“I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were borderline rude. They were not willing to offer any assistance or listen to complains.”

• Beds were full size queen beds.

“Good for short stays and if you don't plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel. Convenient to local attractions and clean.”

• I liked the location and convenience the hotel offered to all the attraction in Charleston.
• I did not enjoy seeing a roach crawling up my wall as I sat enjoying a beverage.

“You get what you pay for! I was not ready to see a roach crawling in my room. It made me apprehensive about leaving food laying around and about bring some home without knowing.”

• Parking was sometimes non-existent.

“The room had obviously seen a lot of traffic. It was pretty drab and depressing, but okay for one night. Upon returning late at night, we couldn't find any legal parking space. Location means a lot to me, especially when time is in short supply. The hotel is located only a few minute from Historic Charleston, Patriots Point, and beaches like Isle of Palms, so this hotel was definitely worth staying at.”

• It was conveniently located to the Isle of Palms Beach and stores. Close to downtown too.
• Not a great view. Does not have playground for kids.

“If you stay just a long weekend, it is a good option. It is pretty quiet and conveniently located to the Isle of Palms beach ( a 10 min. drive) stores and restaurants.”

• It's kind of run down. The room cleaning was not consistent
