• Convenient and nice linens in the room.
• No jacuzzi, no heated pool and inconvenient hotel layout including ice machines and stairwell locations.

• The staff was very attentive and helpful.

“The hotel was very beautiful, and we appreciated the great service that we got from the staff. We even got a phone call from the front desk after we had settled in our room to make sure everything was OK for us. That was a nice touch.”

• Mini-fridge in the room.
• Slowest elevators ever.

“The hotel was perfectly adequate, but a good location, especially if you want to be near downtown. The mini-fridge in the room was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite large with a small sofa.”

• Kids ate free in restaurants.

“Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was fantastic to going to downtown Charleston. The rooms were up to date and very comfortable. We enjoyed the shampoo and lotion by Bath & Body Works.”

• Convenient to Charleston with plenty of parking.
• With all the great views in the area their did'nt seem to be a good one from the hotel.

• Excellent location (between beach and city), comfy bed/pillows, warm pool.
• No free continental breakfast and no small refrigerator or microwave in room.

“An overall, good stay and I would use this hotel again and would recommend it to others! The location is perfect- in between Charleston, SC and Isle of Palm beach!”

• The beds wore the most uncomfotable beds we have ever slept in at a Holiday Inn.

“The beds should be pulled out and replaced!Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable.Hotel staff said basically to bad! The breakfast buffet looked like leftovers from the day before so we did not eat at hotel. The location was very good.”

• The hotel was convenient to all the local attractions.
• The pool is seasonal and no one told us.

“The hotel was nice, clean, and convenient. The pool being only seasonal was really bad for the entire family, because we thought since we listed a pool there would be one for our use.”

• Pool was not open.

“I had a room on the 5th floor and it was recently renovated. Nice granite vanity in bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows. The AC was a little noisy but not too bad. Room had fridge but no microwave. Overall, a great value. Very convenient location.”

“Dirty wash cloth hanging from shower as well as visible dark hairs. Hotel gave us a free breakfast that was barely edible.”

• Location very convenient.
• Some of the hotel staff was rude. Trying to be funny, but really just annoying.

“Hotel was nice and clean. Very convenient location. First night restaurant grill was broken, but then fixed the next night. Front desk person that checked me in didn't seem to be paying much attention. Bartender was rude and inappropriate comment when I attempted to order a glass of water with my alcoholic beverage. The hotel was nice, the staff needs an upgrade. I won't be staying at this hotel or dining in their restaurant any time soon.”

• Very clean and smelled clean!
• Beds were too small.

“Hotel was very nice and clean, the beds were too small for two people to share. Pillows were too flat. Staff was great! The cleaning crew did a great job. Needs to add a hot tub. I really liked the bathroom, it was very nice, the room was average to other places, nothing special about that part. Need refrigerator/microwave/safe in the rooms.”
