“We went on a over night getaway for myself and my wife. The hotel is now non smoking (as of two weeks ago un-notified of the situation until check in) so we had to go outside to smoke. 4th floor to the front entrance no smoking area or bench for the guests. The Jacuzzi was under repairs as of the day prior to our stay. We were offered free access to a health club as the desk put it 10 minutes up the road, the road being a very steep hill and not ten minutes away walking but driving only a mile and a half to the club which offers very limited hours and access. The restaurant in the hotel is open at 6 pm check in at 3 pm so no place to eat except outside restaurants (room service sandwich average 9.00$ meal at local Fridays over 40 for 2. When the restaurant opened we went in to find the cheapest meal offered in a very limited menu was over 23.00$ dinner for 2 one bottle of inexpensive wine 105.00$, when we went to bed the number of beds offered an even worse scenario they adjust but lose air in the middle of the night so your sleeping on a rock by morning. If your sleeping still when the air conditioner intervenes your slumber by imitating its best train rattle on 20 minute intervals. This was a birthday gift to me to go and get away at a nice hotel and restaurant it turned out to be a getaway at a over priced hotel that was once nice but in extremely poor disrepair. I am extremely disappointed in the room, bed, service, and amenities that were touted as available only to be truthfully non existent.”

“This hotel was nice. I was disappointed by the lack of information in the room about where the pool, restaurant, etc were located. Also, the pop machines were out of soda on more than 2 floors. The room service was not very good. However, the room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed/pillows were comfortable.”

“Mold in tub area this made me think they are lax in their sanitation. Made me wonder if the sheets and blankets get changed between guests. I stayed one night and noticed the shower the next day. I complained at check out and the response was I'm sorry ill let housekeeping know have a nice day woman working on Saturday July 12 at approx 10 am.”

“Overall, it was a place to lay your head. It was certainly not up to the standards of cleanliness that a three star hotel would live up to. Why not just put plastic cups in the room instead of dirty glass ones with lip marks all over them? At least one and two star hotels do not try to seem fancy with the glass, and in the long run, they save themselves a headache. I did find it odd that the cleaning lady did not have one dirty glass on her cart. Where do they go?”

“Friendly staff, great location that is a short distance from downtown Pittsburgh, many shopping places and restaurants are located a short distance from the hotel.”

“The Radisson name used to really mean something. The hot tub had no working controls or water flow (bacteria). The pool area itself had a knotted up and torn rug with ceiling tiles that were disintegrating. All carpets throughout the hotel were lose and old. The rooms featured sleep number beds and were generally well kept, but the bathrooms were seriously outdated. Restaurant was overpriced for location and lounge was permitted with smoke filled air and not a good family alternative.”

“The indoor/outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were the main reasons I chose this hotel. My father and I stayed there and he enjoys these amenities.”

“We have previously stayed in this hotel with absolute satisfaction. This time we were not pleased. To begin with the walk from the elevator to our room was met by dirty carpeting to our room. Our room was not properly cleaned. Our toilet was clogged and the shower was unusable due to no hot water. I was completely not satisfied by our stay.”
