• The hotel's location was walking distance from night entertainment. I loved the fact that the back of the hotel lead to the beach and had a pool.

“To be honest I was not expecting the hotel to be in good conditions. When we entered the room the room was in good condition and very clean. I can't really talk about room service I did not bother with it. The cleaning staff did a decent job. If your just looking for a place to sleep this is the way to go.”

“This hotel was very old. The bathroom was too small and toilet was so close to the wall that one couldn't put legs around. Beds weren't done completely and housekeeping would come in after only one knock at 10am. Which checkout was at 11am. Overall our experience was awful.”

• It must have been nice once, but the owner have let it run down.

“There's an ice machine on each floor but no ice bucket or cups in the room, you have to bring your own I was told.”

• Nothing but the location.
• The cleaning lady walked into our room in the morning, she didn't even wait for us to open or respond.

“If you are looking for a nice, clean place to stay this is definitely not the hotel. It is not worth it even for the price.”

• Convenient location next to beach.
• Parking, pool closing early, maintenance man.

“This hotel is an older hotel with small bathrooms. Our connecting door was stuck and cracked so we called maintenance to come open it. He blamed us for "breaking" the door. Restaurant was not open in the evening. Pool closes early since they have no outdoor lighting. I would not stay here again.”

“This was by far the dirtiest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The employees were very rude.”

• Collins AV Walking Distance from Lincoln Road and the beach.
• Charged for 30 minutes late checkout, and "official" checkout time varies. Service not friendly.

“If you want to party, knowing south beach and get wasted, You can do it staying there, but the facility itself is of poor quality, bed mattress are old stained and expired. The overall bad experience is the check out time, Clerk told us check out was at 12M and by the time we checked out was 11:40, suddenly show up a sing "check out 11 am" and charged us 20 bucks for 40 minutes. Be aware.”

• The hotel is located right on the beach at Miami and is very close to shops and nightlife.
• The reception staff is rude and you have to go to the lobby for limited internet access.

“I entered the hotel with positive expectations and was greeted by a rude receptionist who all but grunted at me for interrupting her phone conversation. The hotel room was livable but the pillows had a weird smell and the air conditioning was only just working. I find it incredible that they only had limited speed wireless access in the lobby and not to the rooms in the hotel. In other words, I loved Miami.”

• Great location and right on the beach.
• Employees were very rude, hotel was dirty, room had multiple problems, which took hours to resolve.

“Horrible. The employees were extremely rude to everybody I saw them encounter, including myself. The room had a broken telephone with a dirty substance on it, a broken air conditioner and no pillowcases. We had to call twice to get the issues resolved with the room, which ended up taking hours and ruining our evening. Every single lounge chair at the pool was broken and the deck was slippery.”

• The parking was bad, you have to park down the street.

“The rooms in the hotel was to plan but they did clean them every day. The location was great but the parking was not good and the price was just good for me. It was a ok trip, would go back.”

• The location was great for what we were wanting to get out of our stay in Miami, it had great access to the beach.
• The front desk employees where not very helpful or friendly.

“I was satisfied with the quality of the hotel for the price. Also the location was great and it was definitely what we were looking for, for the short amount of time we were there. If you are going for a two day weekend, it is definitely the place to stay.”

• Near wonderful restaurants and shopping and beach.
• Dirty, run down, just worn out, old and smelly.

“Fulfilled our need for a room prior to a cruise. Front desk person great, but appearance poor. Do something with all that hair! 2 calls to residence, to confirm our residence. And req. A smoking room w 2 beds resulted in recorded messages that were never returned by the hotel. We enjoyed our dinner at Grill fish and lunch in the Lincoln Road area, out of doors. The room is tolerable for 1 not, but anyone minimally picky will refuse. Vending machine, ice and internet available in lobby. Coffee shop good for just that. Would not stay again, South Beach is well worth visiting for its own sake, now that Ive seen other properties I will book on my own. Hotel has no-smoking plaque in lobby, offered smoking room with ashtray. What does "non smoking" really mean? Close to beach and access is easy thru hotel pool area (which is loud w music) but no chairs, umbrellas, etc. Avail. On beach for hotel guests, must be rented.”

• It did not have one single redeeming quality!
• Everything about this hotel is dismal.

“Dive or dump does not adequately describe this hotel. Avoid at all costs until they have completely renovated and updated. Corners were cut everywhere. One bar of soap made in India. No Kleenex. No plug for bathtub. Horrible view. Furnishings are ancient. Sheets threadbare. Color scheme putrid. Bad, bad experience. Never, never again!”

• Very dirty, bed uncomfortable, TV didn't work.

“Happy with hotel's location but that is where it stops. Walls needed painting, floors needed cleaning, TV needed repairing, and mattress needed replacing. Over priced for what we got.”

“This was a great hotel if you do not plan to stay in your room for a long period of time. It's located right on South Beach, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. It was fairly clean, the room we stayed in was huge, but it was rather old and needed updating. The pillows were awful, and when we asked for some extras, we were told they didn't have any extras; same with the towels. If you don't go in with any expectations other than a great location, you won't be disappointed.”

• Clean towels.
• It is listed as being on south beach but its 11 blocks away from the main part of the beach.

“I did not have a good stay at all! When I got to the hotel, they did not have my hotel reservation. It did not matter that I had my printed confirmation and the hotel's confirmation #. I had to wait in the lobby for 4 hours until they received a fax. I was so disappointed with my experience and the accommodations that I left a day early and paid for another hotel so that I and my guest would have one enjoyable night.”
