• Location and pool.
• Third floor hallway and our room smelled musty.

“Clean and basic in a great location. The restaurant was good and the pool was lots of fun.”

• Run down and not as clean as it could be,

“Location is great, for a budget traveler who wants to be in the center of the action, it is perfect. Rooms are ok, but not 3 star. Hotel common areas need improvement. Pool and outside is nice, beware of mosquitoes by the pool at night.”

• Clean with an excellent location at south beach, internet access at the front desk.
• Low ceilings in the hallways shower head, older rugs in the room.

“For the price this hotel is a nice boutique hotel in the "north" art deco area of south beach. It is well located and a short (10 blocks) walk from the main focal points of south beach. The rooms are clean and bright, comfortable beds with decent amenities. Pool area is quite good and walks out onto the beach. Overall fairly nice.”

• I love the location, the outside area, pool, hammocks, bar and beach, also walking distance to shops and bars.
• I did not like that the outside area was closed off and locked after the bar was closed. We could not get to the beach unless we walked around.

“Overall it was a great deal and a wonderful stay at the south seas hotel. I would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again in the future.”

• Musty smell.

“I traveled here with my 16 year daughter to show her where I vacationed growing up. I wasn't sure what I 'd find but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small but freshly painted, newly carpeted and the bathroom was updated. There were upscale toiletries provided and the staff was friendly. The pool area is great , very tropical. The best surprise was the free daily breakfast buffet. We liked it so well that we decided to make this an annual mom and daughter trip. The only negative was a musty smell.”

“This was a perfectly located beach front hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The rooms and public areas wear kept clean. One of the best surprises was the free breakfast buffet.”
