• I loved that exactly at our back door there was the beach.
• I hated having to put down the room deposit, but that's at any hotel.

“I enjoyed my stay at the President. The location was perfect, the hospitality was laid back but still very attentive to our needs. Miami in general is a awesome getaway but this hotel gave a homely type feeling. Sought of like you know that you are away yet you are comfortable as if you are in your own home. From the bartender, the front desk, and that cool chic hostess, myself and my friend had a blast! We are in the process of setting up another trip with more friends and you don't have to guess where we are staying. That's right, the President.”

• The courtyard by the pool was nice.
• They lost our reservation said we were a no show for the 22nd. Parking was 2 blocks away and $1 per hour.

“They only had one blow dryer that was shared between the hotel guests.”

• The location.
• Mold on the ceiling and the worst bed I ever slept on.

“The meals in the convenient restaurant were pricey. There is no parking except at the curb, if you can get it. The bed was horrible, my back still aches. There was mold on the ceiling in 2 different locations, neither one that close to a bathroom on the floor above.”

• The cleaning crew tried hard to do there best!
• The check-in staff are not honest with their intentions on the quest accommodations and welfare.

“The staff members who control the hotel are least personal, hospitable with guest compare to the staff who do all the dirt work. They, the maintenance and the cleaning crew are very kind, polite, and always willing to help.”

• The location was great!
• Staff could have been better. The people at the desk were hard to communicate with because of language barriers. it took awhile to get our room clean

“I love Collins Ave and it was great. The atmosphere was almost Mexican. the lobby was cute. the room was small but we had a fridge which we found in a cabinet on the 3rd day.”

“The location was good and the lobby looked okay but the pool is as big as a bathtub and the sundeck on the roof they show on their website doesn't exist. You have to sign out a remote control from the lobby which was weird. The rooms are small and old. The bathroom was like a closet. They have tables out front for their restaurant and you walk past them to leave the hotel. There is a guy there trying to get people to sit and eat. He heckles everyone walking by to strongarm you into eating there. At first I thought he was drunk because of how obnoxious he was but then the next night he was the same. He is downright rude if you don't eat there. ”

• Good location, close to the beach, nice lobby?
• The overpowering stench!! OY!!!

“The President Hotel greets you with an updated lobby commensurate with South Beach standards (kinda/sorta??), but the pervasive stench of what must have been bug spray and/or deodorising agents certainly made any time spent in the rustic,un-modern room most unpleasant due to the respiritory distress incurred therein.”

• Location was very good, pool garden area was pretty, nice bar
• Room needs updated, mattress was crunchy, noise, could be a lot cleaner in rooms

“This hotel is conveniently located just a block from the Ocean Drive and the beach. Outdoor dining and good bar and nice enough lobby, but rooms were dated and not extremely clean. Beds crunched and there was a lot of noise, very old 2 person elevator. Musty carpets, but we got a deal and room was ok for what we paid.”

• location and friendliness for the price.
• The carpets were to dirty to walk on without shoes.

“It's a friendly neighborhood and a lot of eating places are near by for different choices of food. Very close to the beach and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only down side of the hotel was the dirty carpet in the room.”
