• Cute guest rooms, though very small bathrooms. Location near everything.
• Pretty much everything else.

“I have rarely had a worse experience at a hotel. There was no notice or contact about this issue, and we were visiting other guests who were at The Penguin. We were then taken down a back alley and up fire stairs to check in without any luggage assistance. This place is like a hostel. Rooms are cute, but that's it. Paper thin walls so you can hear every drunk teenager returning at 4 AM, vomit in the hallways, etc. Billing also very odd. Very annoying. Staff was unbelievably rude and could not answer any questions about anything.”

• The rooms were very nice and had a unique look to it!
• Stayed at sister property The President. Elevator was out of order the whole weekend.

“Recommended for young travelers on a budget, yet still want the convenience of being close to the beach! Rooms are very nice and clean, however I feel the rooms could be a bit more sound proof!”

• Absolutely nothing it was a horrible experience.
• The hotel didn't honor our confirmation; the staff was rude to us and others.

“I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed in the Miami area before and have never been treated with such disrespect. The hotel didn't honor the confirmation and tried to place us in a different hotel where we didn't book that wasn't close to the accommodations of the penguin. This was my first experience and I don't know that if I will use this service again either.”
