• The room was spacious.
• Bugs stuck on the wall. Filthy halls.

“It was not a good experience. The room was somewhat dirty but spacious and beds comfortable The big problem was when water started pouring through our bathroom ceiling. The staff did not come up, rather told us to turn off the A.C. for a while. Many of our things were ruined in the bathroom where the leak occurred. They did nothing to compensate our losses.”

“Like they say, "you get what you pay for". If you like a hotel that tries to cover up the smell of urine with an over abondance of cleaning products, then this is your kind of place. Don't let the pictures fool you. The carpets are dirty, the pictures are about 20 years old. There is a safe in the room that no one ever uses but you have to pay for it anyway. The swimming pool, forget lounging around, they only have two chairs. They do, however, have a referigerator and a microwave which made things pretty convienant. The shower and bathroom were so dirty that we had to wear flip flops in the shower. The elevator was working when we got there but when we left it was broken. We had a view of the roof top, not very exciting. We actually checked out a day early and went and stayed at the Lowes Hotel...now that is a great place. The San Juan has a very friendly staff who will, in fact get you anything you need. They got us a portable fan because the central air, which the guests have no control over, was just not making our room cold enough. It is very close to the beach and all of the wonderful nightlife, but all the people sitting out front on the "porch" yelling at all the girls that went by, did not make it comfortable for my friend and I to go in and out of the hotel late at night. The laundry mat, forget it. There are two washers and two dryers outside by the pool area which are coin operated. The satellite TV, you get a whole 10 channels.”
