  • Great value, great breakfast, manager was awesome.
  • Nothing.

“I was very happy with the room, we were upgraded and she was always so helpful. The best reason for staying here is the van service, the day and night guys Edwin and Charlie go out of their way to get you to the airport and back as quickly as possible and also to the train station. The breakfast could not have been better. These folks go all out for their guest and I would recommend it to everyone. I have already sent them one guest arriving next week. We wanted a less expensive place to stay as we were there to see NYC, not to stay in our room. Our room was large, clean, sheets and pillows great, a view of the empire state building.”

  • Convenient to Manhattan but a lot less expensive.
  • Nothing really.

“A good value for New York. The breakfast was quite good, and they offered a free ride to the local subway stops (five minutes) or we could walk through a Queen's neighborhood (15 minutes) so it was convenient to Manhattan at half the price or less. The computers had slow Internet access but we were interested in Manhattan. The hotel was convenient to several stores and restaurants and the community felt quite safe. If you are worried about walking around in Queens at night you probably don't belong in New York at all. Also, this isn't a resort but I wasn't looking for that.”

  • I was checked in at time of arrival, did not have to wait.

“I was expecting a better room like the one that is shown when I booked it. Instead I did not get the tub that you see or all the space I expected to get what I saw for the amount that I paid.”

  • Strange stains on the floor.

“It was adequate for the one night stay I needed.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • The cemetery across the street. The Irish restaurant down the corner. The waffles for breakfast!
  • Musty smell to the room. I'm a non smoker and I smelled smoke seeping into my room.

“If you want a cheep place to stay near Manhattan and not in Manhattan, than this hotel is a good. Nothing fancy, but safe and satisfactory.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • For the price, the accommodations were definitely adequate.
  • It's location is not the best

“For those not concerned with proximity to the subway, this hotel offers all the necessary accommodations - king size bed, air conditioning, microwave, in-room refrigerator, coffee maker and iron, at an exceptional rate for New York.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[4]

  • Best ratio star/price.
  • Bad location, but they provide a free transport to the subway or LGA.

“Room is good and clean, bathroom too. Breakfast is OK. Lot of useless stuff: Fitness room, bicycle in the room. Location is quite bad. I didn't feel safe to walk back to the hotel from the subway. But they provide free transport and this is very good. Quite expensive.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Ideal location, free shuttle services to airport and nearest subway train station.
  • Non smoking rooms smelt of cigarette smoke and sometimes staff was rude.

“Good bang for the buck, not more than half hour from either airport or Manhattan. Free shuttle service to airport and nearest subway station is a big bonus. However, when asked to call a cab, they called a limousine and we ended up paying double the regular cab rate, so beware of this when asking for a cab, ask for car service instead. Staff was accommodating for most part. There is no water provided! Needs to be bought in the vending machine!”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[6] • Location:[2]

  • Free shuttle service to and from La Guardia Airport.
  • It is in front of a cemetery and far from the subway.

“The room was dirty and it smelled. I quickly called the hotel management and they did send someone to clean the room right away. If using the hotel for an overnight stay it is fine. However if you need for more than one day please spend your money somewhere else. Also if you need to be in the city this is not for you. You have to wait for a shuttle to take you to the subway and picks you up. It is not convenient at all.”

  • It has a shuttle to the subway and the airport. It was very helpful.
  • The bathroom was not the cleanest.

“The room was nice for the most part. It also offers breakfast which was nice. The hotel has a shuttle to the subway and the airport which was a huge selling point!”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[5] • Location:[6]

  • Good location for transportation. Breakfast was decent.
  • Overall cleanliness was marginal.

“The price is good. The location relative to public transportation is good. The breakfast was acceptable, but lacked some attention. The room was ok relative to the cost, but not as clean as it should have been. All that said, I would probably return.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[10] • Location:[5]

  • Very helpful, courteous front desk staff.
  • Creepy location.

“Very reasonable, fairly nice room; isolated industrial location: needed shuttle or taxi to get anywhere to eat or shop; front desk staff is exceptional!”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • Provided free parking and didn¿t cost that much. Close to the city too.
  • The shuttle service to the metro is poorly organized. Waited over an hour in the cold at one point for it.

“I enjoyed the place somewhat. The price was good for its locations and they did have parking. But their king size beds are very uncomfortable. They also do provide shuttle service to and from the subway 24hrs.but it was poorly organized. Waited for over an hour at one point in the cold. Was dropped off at different subway entrances each time. And assumed to be picked up there. When called was yelled at. Saying they don¿t pick up there.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Free shuttle and breakfast.
  • Bath water bottleneck due to hair dirt.

“This is a nice hotel not far from nick (15 minutes from times square using subway line 7) with a 24 hours free shuttle to the nearest subway station (5 minutes). Clean room (except the bath was a little bit dirty), very comfortable stay. Many commodities.”

  • I liked the breakfast included.
  • Dirty bad and bathrooms.

“They do have a shuttle from the station to the hotel, but the car it is old, very old, and dirty, also the drivers are not friendly, also, I was told when I checked in, that my room was going to be cleaned in the afternoon, but when I got in my room later on the evening it wasn't clean and I asked to please clean it, but the lady was about to leave, and the didn¿t do it.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • The desk staff was friendly and recommended great places to eat.
  • The fact that it is directly across from a large cemetery may bother some people.

“This hotel was much better than I expected. The staff was attentive and friendly, and gave what turned out to be very good dining recommendations. While the room could've used some updating, the bed was very comfy and the towels were soft. The bath was well stocked with toiletries and a small coffeemaker. The rooms were clean and neat. An unusual touch was the exercise machine next to the desk. Some people might find the cemetery view a little disconcerting, but the hotel's location is very convenient to the airports (for which they offer free shuttle service) and other boroughs. I had an excellent visit and would stay here again.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[2] • Location:[3]

  • Breakfast, though in a very small, crowded room, was good.
  • Dirty, smelly, crowded, overbooked, overpriced, no view.

“Overbooked, did not have room for us with 2 double beds. Brought out dirty fold out bed, crammed, overcrowded, noisy, filthy room, holes in walls and ceilings, got stabbed in the foot with something in the carpet. Would never stay there again, period.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • The breakfast and most of the staff.
  • The rooms were very dusty as are most.

“The staff was great with the exception of the African desk clerk who did not like Black people. The maid staff was excellent. It is near an expressway that gets you to Manhattan in less 10min to the other 4 burs in <30min. No ESPN. Dusty. It time for the industry to invest in air cleaners.”
