• renovations are lovely, great location
• the worst front desk staff I've encountered. Not at all accommodating for earlier check in or late check out. We were to check out by eleven and before 1030 three people came by to see if we were gone yet

“I love the area and we stayed at the Cheeca last year but this will be the last visit. I can't reconcile the cost with the lack of courtesy and service we recieved. There are no greetings from staff and there seems to be noone leading this team. It was not up to the standard of the Rock Resorts that I or our friends have experienced. The room rate actually only covers from 4 pm to 11 am and there is no area for guests to change or get comfortable while waiting for the room. This would not even be as hard to take if someone smiled and appeared to be understanding that it is frustrating to not be able to enjoy your arrival day. The bellmen are the only staff members who seem to care to provide service and understand that the guests are the lifeblood of the place. The beach waiters are good but there are not enough so again there is a long wait time. The room rate is high enough the $25 activity fee is an insult! If you're that tight just roll it into the room rate.”
