“This hotel was great. We were a little nervous after reading the other reviews, but it was clean, the pool & spa worked and were warm. The decor was lovely, very lodge like. On the downside, they charged us an additional fee for two beds rather than one even though it was listed as the same price online. The breakfast room was only open Fri-Sun. Overall, I would recommend it.”

“The hotel was quaint and looked like it had been re-done recently. It was in good shape and I was very pleased to find there was a small parking garage so my car didn't get covered in snow overnight.”

“Friendly staff but I wouldn't stay here, it's just not worth it. Bed was uncomfortable, walls were thin, and did not feel safe here. I would stay at the Hyatt just a block away. Actually, that's what I did for the rest of the trip. It's a little more pricey but well worth it.”

“Near the lake, very close to the Hyatt, where we attended a wedding reception. Near the forest, near Kings Beach.”

“I was completely disappointed in this hotel. I was traveling with my eighteen year old niece and two small children. It cost me 33.50 extra per night to upgrade my room to two beds! The beds were two doubles and the mattresses were so hard and crunchy that my 11 month old baby couldn't even get comfortable. The pillows were flat and a thousand years old. To top that off, there was a wall between the two beds so whoever was on the interior bed could not see the TV. The continental breakfast was far from adequate to feed my eight year old girl! There were bagels but no cream cheese, one kind of yogurt, out of regular coffee, and the office was closed even though someone obviously lives there. Next was the poor location. Hardly any shops or restaurants and at least twenty miles around the lake from anything worthwhile to do. Overall, I would put it on the top five worst hotels for the price, location and services. My vacation was no fun because of this place.”

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-tended daily. The location was good, though we were disappointed that there was a fee for all beaches in the area. That was unexpected due to previous experience with free beaches that are no longer free.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We stayed at a different hotel on Friday night and could not have been more pleased that we switched for Saturday and Sunday nights. It was a big room, it felt clean, and it was very quiet. We want to come back again next summer and stay there for our family reunion being held at North Shore.”

“Rated 2 star, but really only 1. I think given 2 because of its location to Tahoe. Decor was dated, lighting was terribly poor in the room, bed was really hard, bedspread was dated, could hear the neighbors clearly through the walls. Give it points for cleanliness and good front desk service.”

“Even though this inn was an older facility, the rooms and public areas (pool/spa room) were tastefully decorated and well kept. I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, that is even the window sills were clean. I would definitely”

“Upon arrival at 10:30 pm hotel's front desk was 'closed' and key taped to front door. Was very cold, and room was not heated prior to arrival. Thin carpets.”

“Called to request one queen bed instead of two doubles (one queen is listed as less expensive than two doubles on their rate sheet). Overall, this place is clean but not overly comfortable and there was a noisy drip of melting snow from the gutter onto the cars below all night long that made it hard to sleep.”

“Year Around Vacancies even in high season. Super friendly & responsive staff. Free Wifi! (signal abit weak if away from the main office) Small indoor pool & jacuzzi.Consnoisy, very thin walls, can hear next door people talk (let alone, TV, shower, bathroom flash, etc)* Not a romantic place to stay. Dangerous (very steep & narrow) driveway in the Winter - use caution! Limited parking. Pricier than other local resorts”

“The Park side Inn at Incline is a charming small motel-style establishment about 4 blocks from the shoes of Lake Tahoe. While a little frayed around the edges, it was clean and reasonably comfortable. Rooms are a good size and have pretty easy access. This is one of those places where you look around the room and say "if only it had xx, and yy, this would be a real charmer." If you just need a reasonable, easy, clean place to rest your head, this is a no-brainer.”

“Overall, it was good for one night, but I would not have wanted to stay there many more. The staff was friendly.”

“Clean and reasonably priced for the area and for last-minute reservations. No window in dark bathroom. We reserved a Deluxe King room and got a full-size bed and $10/night discount. Call to confirm room type after making reservations. .”

“For a last minute reservation, this hotel was fine. It was not luxurious, but basic. Nothing fancy. We stayed in a "premium" room; we had a refrigerator, lots of counter space in the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom was slate tile, probably nice in the summer, but freezing cold in the winter. The shower curtain was strangely short, the heater was noisy and the beds hard. But after a day of skiing not much mattered. They did have a free continental breakfast that was very sub-par, wouldn't depend on this for breakfast. They also had a simple indoor pool, no lighting in the pool itself, and not much lighting in the area, but it was heated to be comfortable. Adjacent was a hot tub, it was nice, but not very hot. A good basic hotel for crashing after a day of skiing. We had our kids with us and they were fine with the place too.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Parkside Inn at Incline, Incline Village-Crystal Bay
