• Allowed us to check in early. Were very accommodating.
• View was of the highway. A little loud, but ear plugs were in room.

“Overall, it was in a good location, with lots of restaurants nearby. A little loud by the highway, but it wasn't too bad. The staff was great.”

• Convenient area and price with helpful and courteous staff.
• The breakfast choices, although decent, could be slightly upgraded.

“The hotel had very clean rooms with a nice size mini-fridge, a microwave and a flat-screen LCD TV. The hotel also had a courteous staff with an excellent price and location which was close (driving) to many attractions. It was definitely well worth the price paid through Priceline and I would recommend it to family and friends.”

• They had a laundry room for guests and a great breakfast included.
• The lobby had a overwhelming smell of air freshener that was like horrible perfume.

• Convenient
• My room had a mildew smell.

“I just needed a room to stay in a few hours to catch my cruise the following day. This hotel was good for that purpose. The staff was friendly. Its about $30 in a taxi from the airport. The room had a bad odor and no hot water.”

• Location was not in a good area. Pool needed attention and was not heated.

“For a over night stay it wouldnt be bad. Not too close to anything in walking distance and did not feel very safe out side of the hotel after dark.”

• Terrible location; do not go out alone or leave anything in your car in this area!

• It has free internet access in lobby.
• Terrible location, right next to freeway.

“I would not want to stay at this hotel again, primarily because of the location. The hum of the freeway kept me from sleeping well. Even if the hotel were not next to the freeway, the general area seems seedy and unattractive.”

• Nothing.
• Dirty, smelly, poor staff.

“Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Constant road noise, did not rest. Staff was clueless, could not provide us with directions to the hotel, which happened to be across the intersection. Debris floated into the tub when the water was engaged. Called front desk, they arrived with Windex to clean debris. Employee decided the drain was malfunctioning and proceeded to plunge the drain. NEVER cleaned the tub after using a PLUNGER or removed the debris. I am ashamed I rested my head on the pillow much less allowed my husband and young son. Doesn't get much worse.”

• Dingy public space; marginal location; plywood walls on elevators; Cheetah Lounge outside our window.

• The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was helpful.
• The beds could stand to be a little softer.

“The hotel public areas and rooms were very clean and everything appeared to be new. In-room internet and coffee were much appreciated. The staff was helpful and was kind enough to let us stay an extra hour after checkout because we'd overslept and needed to pack up. I need to stay in Hallandale about once a month, and I plan on staying at this hotel again.”

• It was right off of the interstate.
• It was in a bad neighborhood, it smelled bad, and bugs bit me while I slept.

“It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The price I was quoted on the phone was not what I was charged at the counter. When I said this, they said, "well that's what the ticket says". I asked for a manager but there was not one to be found, not even when I checked out, and I asked for one to call me, but it's been 4 days and I do not think it's going to happen. The entire non-smoking floor stunk of cigarettes and I woke up to huge bites all over my legs (which were not there when I went to sleep). It was terrible. I will never go back to another Best Western again.”

• Bathroom, plumbing, bathroom door.

“Generally, a nice hotel. However, had 2 problems: bathroom door did not close due to poor job in remodel (door absolutely does not fit in the frame and needs construction to fix). Tub did not drain properly, leaving me to stand and end my shower in dirty water (unsanitary). I reported the problems but did not get resolution (I was told that at least the plumbing problem would be resolved but it was not in the 3 nights I was there.) When I checked out and complained about the situation, the clerk was not sympathetic (not even an "I'm sorry").”

• Hotel was right off interstate, had refrigerator in room, excellent in every way.
• The neighborhood was a little seedy.

“Convenient location, great service, cleans attractive rooms, good breakfast, refrigerator in the room, comfortable beds. The immediate neighborhood was a bit seedy, but the beach and good restaurants and shopping were only a few miles down the street.”

• Nothing it was disgusting and a horrible stay.
• Next to strip club, nasty rooms, nothing worked in the room.

“Horrible, no way is it a 2 star hotel, in the ghetto next to a strip club. Hot/cold water reversed in shower, rooms were not cleaned, and cigarette butts on the floor, light wouldn't turn off in bathroom. Overall very disappointed and probably will not use again.”

• Very comfortable beds; spacious room.
• Hard to find entrance from main road.

“I loved the spacious room and the beds, nice soft sheets and comfortable. Internet access was free, fast, and easy. Bathroom was also clean; nice marble floors. The lobby & hallways seemed to have low lighting, and the elevators both had water on the floor (from the pool I assume) in the evening. But overall, a pleasant stay, and located right next to I-95 and 1 mile from Gulf stream Park, so it was very convenient.”

• Rooms were clean and fairly comfortable staff was friendly and helpful.
• The lobby smelled bad. Traffic noise from us95.

“I was disappointed to see the shabby exterior, location right on 95 and the awful smell when entering the hotel. Old musty moldy odor really a turn off. The staff was friendly and the room met my purpose (late arrival, early departure) it was a disappointment from my other experiences where I stayed in much better hotels for the same or lesser cost. Would not stay there again.”
