• The price .
• Hotel personnel lied about Wi-Fi in room and
  I needed Wi-Fi
  for my computer.

“You get what you pay for. Rooms were clean but small and bathroom was real small, and the beds were hard. I asked before I checked in if the rooms had Wi-Fi and was told that all rooms had it. This was incorrect and I really needed it that night.”

• Let us check in early, close to airport.
• Most vending was in the lobby, which was a long way from our room.

“Our room looked like it was in the middle of the process. No bugs. I understand that this is a plus in Florida. The ice machine was too far away.”

• Cheap.
• Rooms smelled like moldy carpet.

“The rooms smelled terrible! TV was fuzzy and the carpet was nasty. Good hotel to stay at if you are trying to lose weight because after smelling the rooms you wont be able to eat.”

• Pretty much everything else.

“While the hotel has the outward appearance of a decent lodging facility, the rooms are exact opposites. The rooms look like a do-it-yourself attempt to redo the facility gone bad. The worst is the bathrooms in the rooms, which were disgusting and everything smelled suspect. You really get what you pay for (or what you don't pay for) at this hotel.”

• The shuttle service was fantastic. Very polite drivers.
• The room was not clean. There were marks on the pillow cases and dust and the shower was disgusting.

“Shuttle service was free and great but the room was not clean at all. Service desk was quick and polite. For a one night stay it is not bad as long as you don’t want to shower.”

• Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful & informative.
• Hotel restaurant's prices were quite high considering the restaurant wasn't very nice. Nowhere else to eat within walking distance.

“The staff was very nice & pool seems quite clean. Hotel rooms were somewhat renovated, but done cheaply & floors of the hotel rooms were very dirty. Was decent enough to stay at though for the price, & I felt safe.”

• The lobby, pool area, and common areas were very nice.
• We found a roach in the room.

“The hotel was a very nice hotel it is located in a great area not far from a lot of places people were nice, and as soon as there are finish with their minor construction it's going to look great.”

• The bed was comfortable and the restaurant was fine and the shuttle service was very helpful.
• Minimal amenities, no Kleenex, no coffee pot, staff not always friendly.

“I feel it was serviceable but not fancy by any means. The rooms were clean & beds comfortable. Minimal amenities. Staff not very friendly. No one willing to go the extra mile for service that's for sure.”

• The armed off duty sheriff guarding only the front desk.
• The armed sheriff guarding only the front desk, what about the rest of us?

“This hotel had some players actively conducting "business". If I wanted hookers or crack I would have been well served. Someone is trying to fix the place up and there were some people actually staying more than a day however a bull dozer and starting over would probably be the best thing. And I think this dump actually got three stars. So much for your ratings.”

• Very convenient to my destination, Port Everglade.
• Not in good condition; lobby was under renovation.

“Hotel was very convenient to Port Everglade where we were cruised from. Overall, hotel is not in very good condition! Lobby was under renovation and construction workers were rude. I am beginning to see that what you see online isn't necessarily what you're going to get.”
