• Free wifi
• Other than the lobby everything looked old and dingy

“Lobby was beautiful, staff helpful. Room smelled like Puppy Breath and the halls looked like they could use a wipe down and lighting upgrade.”

“The proximity to LaGuardia Airport is great. Can walk to US Air terminal. Front desk and shuttle drivers were great. The hallways, elevators and rooms need updating and re-decorating.”

• The king bed in room was very comfortable.

“It was very charming and quiet. Nice comforatble bed and really good breakfast in the lobby restaurant. The staff was very helpful getting me to and from the city with directions on how to use public transport. I loved the free shuttle from LGA.”

• The staff was completely professional and very help giving directions to the places I needed to go.
• The toilet clogged, the tub faucet leaked, and the sink was held together with clamps.

“The hotel was just what I expected. It was inexpensive. The room was clean but need some fixing. Mainly the toilet and the bathtub faucet. overall it was a decent place to stay.”

• Hotel lobby was nice.
• Once past the elevators, the hotel was dirty looking.

“Lobby area was nice. The hallways looked very old and dingy. They could use a remodel, the rooms as well. I wouldn't recommend to family or business travelers. No class.”

• Nothing!
• I did not like the fact that I had to pay an extra $18 for parking. The hotel room was extremely small and not worth the price.

“This hotel room was in a very unsafe location. The room that I stayed in was extremely small and the hotel was unattractive and old. The attendant the next morning asked me to pay $18 for parking, even though it was their own parking lot and the hotel wasn't even in proper New York City.”

• Good bus connections to the city.
• Mold in room, poor wait staff.

“If you have to stay here, fine. Do not stay more than 1 night because it is very noisy and may be your mold allergies would not kick in within 24 hours.”

• Very close to major highway.
• Not what I expected at all.

“I stayed at this hotel with my sister and the room was less than stellar. Room was very small; walls were grimy and kept in good condition. The toilet ended up clogging on us in the early morning and we had requested additional pillows and it never showed up. This hotel did not meet my expectations. Will not stay there again.”

• Beware using hotel limo service - undisclosed charge.

“This hotel's name says it all - it's a place to stay that is very convenient to La Guardia airport, but poorly placed for most other purposes. Staff was very helpful to out-of-towners seeking to navigate NYC's mass transit, and provided excellent service to and from the airport. Housekeeping staff was a little slow but competent and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, but not fully equipped. Only black mark: We called for a cab, and instead got a hotel limo with undisclosed and inappropriately high charges.”

• Staff was great.
• The wall paper was peeling off the wall, rooms were very small.

“There is a reason that Wyndham (no great shakes on quality to begin with) dropped their name from this place. It is worn out, needs a complete rehab, and needs it fast. There is really no excuse for stains on the wall, is there?”

• Wallpaper coming off the wall near the entry to my room.

“Some staff were very courteous. The shuttle to the airport was not often enough. Dinner was quite plain but of sufficient quantity. (very limited menu).”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for my needs.
• I was very pleased.

“I did not stay in Elmhurst. The staffs were very helpful. The front desk workers were very helpful in giving me the information I needed. The courtesy van driver went out of his way to take me to a bus stop so I could go to the Yankee game.”

• When they tried to charge me additional fees, and lock me out the room.

“The hotel was nice, but I didn't like what was done to me after I had a long day, and wanted to get some sleep. They locked me out my room saying I owe more money. Later the problem was fixed, but it made me really mad.”
