“Parking was not included you had to pay extra or search for a spot on the street. This was not good because we are in NY. Also the halls had a smoky body odor smell to them. Not very appealing.”

“It was far less than I expected. The hallway was threadbare and smelled as though one hundred people spent 8 hours a day smoking in it. The room was passable but on the ground floor of a very busy intersection. It was impossible to sleep. The room was cold when I got there and it took a while for the heat to kick in. Overall a miserable experience after a long day.”

“This is the best you can get for 2.5 star hotel, I'd suggest spending the extra $$ for a 3star.”

“Location was good for what we needed. the first floor room was downhill of the lobby. we walked thru at least 10 smoke clouds down the hallway. the room was stale cigarette smell. the linens were not clean. it was an old hotel/room/furniture but still could have been clean. there was no exhaust for the shower/toilet. no screens on the windows. Dissatisfied. sorry.”

“A depressing and grimy place, leagues apart from the other LGA hotels: Crowne Plaza, Marriott, and Wyndham are all much nicer places.”

“The exterior of the place is grimy and depressing, and it's matched by the interior. I had called the hotel earlier to make sure that I got a room with a king-sized bed, and I was assured that I would get one. When I arrived, the receptionist told me that I had a room with two beds and insisted that this was what I had requested. The hallways were run-down. The room itself was of decent size (although smaller that other Laguardia hotels, like the Crowne Plaza, Marriott, and Wyndham) but again looked and felt run-down. The bathroom was unacceptably narrow, and when I opened the window by the shower, I found a truly repulsive combination of old cigarette butts and other assorted trash on the ledge. The beds were doubles and were too short for me, and I'm not even that tall at 6'1".All in all, a miserable experience--”

“I guess this is what New York City hotel rooms are like, but I won't stay at another Clarion if all the rooms are that small. The broken air conditioner kept me from getting much sleep considering it was 95 degrees outside.”

“My husband, mother and I came to Flushing for a Mets game. We wanted to stay at a hotel that was very close to the stadium. While the closeness to the stadium was this hotel's biggest 'plus', there were a few problems. The room itself was small and there was mildew in the bathtub/shower. We disliked the fact that we had to walk so far to get to our room (there was one elevator - on the other side of the hotel by the lobby) and believe it or not, our walk back to the elevator the next morning was UPHILL! NOT fun when you're carrying a bunch of luggage! We just felt that the price that we paid for this room was too much for the quality that we received. ”
