“Great views and location. The hotel and casino is dated, but that's part of the nostalgia I guess. The resort is a shadow of it's former glory, but still a fantastic setting. Needs more gaming it feels empty. The restaurant is inconsistent, both is open hours and service. The food and the views were great however. Try the mango chutney chicken sandwich! The rooms are dated too, but again the views are incredible. They were clean too. The spa and gym were nothing more than some work out equipment and a built in hot tub crammed into a downstairs basement, dimly lit florescent lighting, without any thought given to decor. The grounds are great, plenty of parking, a great little pool with the famous California and Nevada state line painted on the bottom so that you cans swim across the border, there are plenty of nice banquet halls and outdoor patios for weddings, meetings, etc. OK so the pool was actually closed for the winter this time, but I've seen it when open and it is quite nice. There are also a few retails shops on the property, there is a wedding planner on sight, a salon and a tuxedo rental shop. The showroom is simple and nice, I poked my head in and was impressed by it's size. I wonder what kind of shows they have? Although for such a well known casino, and the name brings back thoughts of Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Kennedy, and the Mafia. (the Tunnel Tour is neat) I was disappointed by the lack of reinvestment in such a great property. It needs a face lift and the basic upgrades throughout to compete with other casinos on the North Shore.”

“This is an old hotel that has been let go a bit. Rooms and outside could use a coat of paint. The staff was friendly, the food was "ok". Although our room was dated it had a nice little deck and a great view of the lake. The casino is small but nice. All in all we had fun here.”

“Very nostalgic with the history of Frank Sinatra ownership. Restaurant was closed during the week along with the few other restaurants not being opened.”
