• The room was clean and well kept.

“The hotel appearance was good. The room was clean and well kept - worth the money. Check-in was easy and the clerk was friendly. The location was convenient for the Buffalo Grove area with many restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.”

• We were upgraded to a room with a sliding glass door for smoking access.
• Bathroom door was in the way. No ashtrays outside.

“This is a great hotel, located in a great area. The beds are very comfortable. I enjoyed having access to the garden area directly from my room. The bathroom door is inconveniently placed, as it almost hits the toilet seat when opened. Also, no fan in the bathroom. It is not easily seen from the road (Lake Cook) so it was a little challenging to find. All-in-all. I would recommend it!”

• It was comfortable, surprisingly luxurious for the price.
• There was nothing to dislike.

“My grand daughter and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I didn't expect it to be so nice for the price. The $10 breakfast buffet was fabulous, with made to order omelets, bacon, fresh pastry.”

• Convenience to family locations.
• Exterior in in need of repair in many places.

“For short term business; very good for family short stays, very good for the short term itinerant. Long term stay is not too convenient.”

• Location for my needs.
• No breakfast was included and/or Happy Hour.

“I only spent limited time there. I was in the area for 2 days and they were fully booked. The hotel was convenient for my needs. I would have liked an outdoor swimming pool.”

• Closest highway was quite congested.

• Rate compared to hotels in Lincolnshire, big rooms.
• Did not know it was there.

“A hidden gem. The rate difference between this hotel and the hotels in Lincolnshire and Deerfield is incredible. I will stay here again.”

• The bathroom was handicap accessible and was fresh, newer decor.
• We had to call each day to get drinking glasses. Towel racks in poor location.

“While the room was generally very nice, there were no towel racks near the sink or shower/bathtub. Having to call each night for drinking glasses to be replaced was irritating. Otherwise the room was neat and clean.”

• The hotel was beautiful. I enjoyed the patios.
• Price of breakfast compared to selection of food.

“The hotel was beautiful and well kept. I enjoyed sitting on the patio after breakfast. The lobby was decorated nicely and the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• The staff met our need for a non-smoking room, even though they were heavily booked.
• The carpets in the hallways and elevator were shabby, worn, and dirty.

“The Wyndham Gardens Hotel in Buffalo Grove offered us fine accomodations, friendly service, and excellent value. We especially enjoyed the Sunday morning brunch in the restaurant where a chef prepared our omelets and eggs with pizazz!”
