Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Very close to expressway.
  • Towels were extremely worn.

“Close to I95. safe area. excellent Mexican restaurant next door. Friendly staff.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Quiet, clean, inexpensive, easy to find, continental breakfast.
  • Unattractive exterior.

“It's inexpensive, but clean and quiet. I would stay here again and would recommend it to those who want a no frills, low cost short stay.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[5] • Location:[6]

  • Cheap.
  • A bit rundown.

“Nothing particularly good about it, and a general sense that it had seen better times, but it was cheap and quite adequate.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Desk person was friendly.
  • Old man in room kept window open all day watching my wife and even going outside to watch her when she went to car. He works there. Creepy.

“Creepy man in hotel room absolutely killed it for us, in addition to the state of the room. The furniture was made in the eighties and was worn and cracked and needed replacing. The room was too dim to even take pictures in which made the mood gloomy bad experience wont return.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[3] • Location:[7]

  • Location!
  • Room was small, dirty, out of date, no amenities, and hole in wall.

“Horrible! This hotel had chopped up rooms that were dirty and outdated. You could see day light around the heater which didn't work very well. No working ice machine or high speed internet. Would not recommend anyone to stay here!”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[2] • Location:[1]

  • The room wasn't that bad. We survived.
  • Shady characters in room next to us, probably drug dealers.

“This was the sketchiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The people at the front desk were unfriendly, shady, and hardly smiled. They put us right next to a room where the door never closed, and cars came in and out. There was probably drug dealing going on.”

  • The location was fine and the front desk was accommodating.
  • Halls being painted and annex building and 2nd floor room.

“I asked for no room service.
The adjoining door had been broken into in the past and the frame was not fixed.Room
at end of the hall, 2nd floor in annex behind main motel, room next door was noisy, unlocked entrance no elevator. The first floor walls were being painted and there were tarps on the floors. Late arrival-tired and did not want to drag luggage down and wait for new room. Did not feel safe. Did not seem to have many guests in annex.”

Apr 24, 2006 by Glenna from Vineyard Haven, MA
Overall Rating: 8 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Low price, comfortable bed, cable TV
  • Very dark - needs more lights and stronger light bulbs.

“It is a good choice if people need an inexpensive, centrally located place. I was visiting people in Branford, but it also would have been fine for people visiting, Yale, or New Haven - right near exit 55 on I-95.”
