• Neat
• Reserved for 3 people and only got room with a double bed and a cushion over the heater.

“Heater in room was very noisy. We could hear people beside and below us...walls very thin!”

• Location.
• I traveled with a friend and we had to share a bed because the hotel only had queen rooms. Very small rooms!

“Staff good. Breakfast good. Location good. No pool, and no rooms with two double beds. Very uncomfortable to have to sleep with guest. Close to shopping and dinning. No dinner served at hotel. Window opened for fresh air good.”

• The lobby was welcoming and clean.
• The size of the room was so small you could barely move and there was no swimming pool.

“The hotel was clean and in a convenient place but definitely doesn't qualify for a 2 star hotel considering the room was the size of a closet and only had a queen size bed because the room was so small. Plus the place had no swimming pool. For the first few hours we were there, there were dogs barking in several rooms nonstop.”

• Location was great, friendly staff, clean.
• We found an ad in a magazine for the same hotel advertising a cheaper price than we paid.

“The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The room was a little smaller than I expected, but comfortable. The breakfast was good -- serving hot and cold food.”

• Cleanliness of the room was good.
• Even though it was a non-smoking room there was a smell of smoke in the linens.

“The negatives included the noise of doors slamming, employees talking in the corridors early in the morning, and the sounds of passion coming from a room down the hall.”

• Very clean with everything we needed to have.
• Space was tiny - television was small (due to small space).

“I would definitely use this hotel again. The space was small but we didn't really need more space. I think with the space being small that the price could have been a little cheaper..we would consider using it again if the price met the size of the space. The breakfast was excellent - the only
big thing about the hotel.”

• Clean, comfortable, free long distance phone from room!
• Nothing bad.

“Terrific value. Clean & comfortable room. Continental breakfast was typical fare: toast, DIY waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, fruit fine. Room was cozy (i.e. smaller than typical), but this was not a negative feature, since I was only using it for resting. Excellent experience.”

• It was close to the Turnpike for easy access and there were plenty of places around the area for things to do.c
• Walls were a bit thin so you hear everything going on around you and they only provide you with two towels.

“I enjoy my stay for the most part. It’s in the perfect area where I need to meet with friends from one state over. Staff for the most part was friendly and funny. Would be great if they had fridge available for their rooms.”

• I liked the free WiFi.
• Housekeeping was unnecessarily loud in the mornings.

“The Microtel Erie was a nice place to spend a few nights. It was clean, affordable and in a great location with easy access to Peach Street shopping and dining. Downtown was straight down Peach Street, and about a 15-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi was a great perk. Housekeeping was incredibly loud in the mornings.”

• I will recommend it to everyone.
• The room is not suitable to more than one person.

“I was amazed! What was billed as a continental breakfast was far more than expected. It was extremely convenient to my destination. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Erie and would stay there again myself.”
