• Hotel was new and clean, location was in a good area.
• Non smoking room, but Bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, too close to noisy railroad tracks.

“The hotel is a pretty good except for two issues I had. All rooms were non-smoking which is normally a plus for me as I am slightly allergic to cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the room I got smelled like cigarette smoke, even after they sprayed it with room freshener. Also, this hotel is in a convenient location, but unfortunately it is also right next to some railroad tracks and the noise from trains woke me up several times. The windows should be better soundproofed considering the location the hotel was built in. Other than that, the rooms are clean, pleasant and the staff is also pleasant and helpful.”

“The rooms were nicely sized, bathrooms also. The lobby is really nice and the coffee/hot cocoa stand is nice to have going all the time. The breakfast room is large and offers many choices.”

• Huge room, super comfortable beds and the most awesome breakfast.
• Hard to find in the dark, but hotel staff helped talk me in.

“This hotel is awesome; I've stayed here before and was happy to go back. The beds are extremely comfortable, it is so clean and everything is just fresh, fresh, and fresh! There are computers available for guests, the pool is great. Kids had fun but would be great for business as well.”

• Blow dryer did not work properly.

“Overall, very satisfied with visit. The blow dryer in the room continued to shut off while I was trying to use it. Room was comfortable; location was convenient to our office. Staff was friendly.”

• The lobby area is very cozy.
• I did not enjoy the train that goes by and shakes the hotel!

“I was a little disappointed because I wasn't aware that I was getting a handicapped room. They said I could come down the next day a switch if they had something else available but I didn't want to move twice.”

• Great location, big room, great breakfast, huge hot tub.
• Way, way, way too much chlorine in the pool, dirty stairs.

“Great hotel, with easy access to I-15, restaurants, and shopping, bring goggles to the pool, my eyes are still feeling the burn. Great free breakfast.”

• I love that the pool is open 24 hours.
• Staff wasn't very helpful.

“We had a fairly enjoyable stay. The pool was great. I don't recommend staying in for more than 15-20 minutes due to the amount of chemicals. I needed towels, called down to the front desk and was told to come get them ourselves. After I go down there with my baby, I get a call asking if I still needed towels and that they'd be happy to run them right up. Just wish that would have been the case 5 minutes earlier. The staff could use a refresher on customer service overall. There is a train nearby, it didn't bother me, but it might if you are a lighter sleeper. The breakfast was wonderful-great variety. A better variety of TV channels would have been nice too.”

• Everything in the hotel was in great condition--nothing appeared worn.
• It was difficult to exit from the hotel because a left turn in front of a blind curve was necessary.

“Everything in the hotel was in superb condition. Our room had a king size bed with a very comfortable mattress. We were also provided with a refrigerator and a microwave. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was terrific and the daily cleaning was first class. The buffet breakfast was also excellent and generously stocked throughout the breakfast period. I particularly appreciated that hard boiled eggs and low carbohydrate yogurt were provided which enabled my diabetic husband to eat appropriately.”

• It was close to the events we attended.
• There were no drinking glasses of any kind in the room. No microwave, etc.

“This is a nice motel. It suited our needs nicely except for drinking glasses. Have to take those meds even away from home!”

• Nice continental breakfast.
• Remodeling. Nice rooms worth the cost.

“We first arrived and were greeted and checked in. Went to our room. Strong chemical smell as soon as we walked out of the elevator on the 4th floor. Went to the room could still smell it but not as bad. Decided to see if we could change rooms which were granted. 5th floor was great other then the party across the hall all night, but it was new years eve! So I guess I can¿t complain. Came home and found that our credit card had been charged for who ever ended up staying in our original room. Called to correct. Still waiting for credit card refund. Will give them a few more days to see it come through. If I have to fight for this refund. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. And they definitely need to find out what that smell was. It smelled like turpentine or something horrible.”

• The hall corridor on our 4th floor felt unheated.

“This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! The pool/spa was open 24 hrs, there was a pretty good breakfast included for all 5 of us each morning, and the pillow top mattresses in the room were very comfortable and soft. At other hotels I¿ve had to ask for an egg crate mattress pad to be added to the bed or suffered with hard mattresses that led to very poor sleep. The rooms were large and the hotel was easy to spot from the freeway. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

• The beds were comfortable.
• They double charged me for my room.

“Besides the fact that they double charged me for my room. The room itself was clean and comfortable. They didn't leave many toiletries such as enough shampoo or bar soap for families. Other than that the whole experience was a little above average because the beds were very comfortable.”

• No vanity by the mirror to do hair, & train nearby.

• Social hour and the hot tub.
• No restaurant really close (walking distance).

“This hotel was very nice. It was about $20 more than other hotels in the area, but worth every penny. Great customer service is hard to find these days but they did a great job.”
