• Dishonest, non caring staff.

“Staff lied about several things, non caring people, horrible accommodations, dirty rooms and common areas, creepy people in and out of hotel, no security, noise, noise and more noise late at night, peeping tom in residence, overall horrible experience with no apology from staff.”

• The indoor pool and games makes it great in the winter months.
• The buildings were not numbered which made it hard to know where your room was.

“Overall the hotel was great for our trip. Price was fairly cheap and it was convenient for quick access to the interstate clean and the kids loved the video area with the pool we plan on another trip in the summer to go to the can. Zoo hopes you can keep the rates cheap for a single mom with three kids. ”

“I've been all over the world, and this is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Horrifyingly incompetent and/or sarcastic staff, revolting food, no security, noise galore, dishonest rates with undisclosed extra charges, filthy rooms and public areas, inoperative equipment everywhere including room a/c and door lock. This place is being run into the ground fast. Stay away!”

• Great facilities. Almost everything I expected for the price I paid.
• Dilapidated fitness room that barely had proper working equipment. Unfriendly staff.

“The hotel in itself was fantastic. The facilities were all great except for the fitness center, which was practically falling apart. The location was perfect because it was so close to the downtown Cincinnati area and the highway was very easy to get to. However, the staff were very unwelcoming and barely even greeted me when I came in and told them I wanted to check-in. The girl at the front desk looked like she didn't want to be there nor serve me and the other man at the desk didn't greet me either. In terms of staff and other hotel workers, I think they were very poor. But the hotel in itself was exactly what I expected. The photos on the website described the hotel very accurately and set my expectations realistically. Again, the only thing was the fact that their fitness center was awful and falling apart. The hotel was very well run though and my stay there was great, so I didn't really mind that the staff were very unwelcoming and didn't really care much about making a personable impression on me as a guest.”

• Not much.
• The lady behind the counter was rude. The cokes in the machine were 1 1/2 years expired.

“This used to be a nice place when it was Holiday Inn, but then it was sold to best western as a franchise. Foreigners bought it, and let it run down. ”
