• It's a good easy to find hotel on the outskirts of bend.
• Everything I expected.

“I've stayed in a Holiday Inn Express a few times and find their hotels to be very consistently good, clean, and efficient. The bedding is quite nice with different pillow options. They don't have the nasty bed spreads, which is the first thing I take off and toss in the corner when I arrive at other hotels. Everyone is friendly and professional. The continental breakfast is better than most. Overall a great hotel, especially for the business traveler.”

• Location.
• Hot weather and the air conditioner made a very loud noise intermittently.

“The hotel was easy to locate and easy access off and onto main road in a safe business area. It was a standard, generally clean environment that was a great place for family travelers or business travels. Close to convenient shopping, restaurants and Starbucks.”

• Clean rooms, well kept interior and exterior, nice breakfast for a 2 star.
• Breakfast could have allowed some variation, pretty much the same thing over a three day stay.

“Location is ok, about 10 minutes from downtown Bend, near a shopping mall. Standard Holiday Inn with nice, clean rooms and a well kept interior and exterior. Parking seemed ample, though they have evidently had problems in the past with larger vehicles. Breakfast was kept up pretty well even during busy time - though it could have used more variation.”

• Easy road access.
• The smell of chlorine stepping in the front door of the lobby.

“Desk people could have been friendlier, no chlorine smell walking into the lobby,easy access from road and close to shopping.”

• Had to stay in a smoking room because we needed two queen beds.

“My only real complaint comes from a billing error. The hotel mistakenly charged my credit card (given to them for incidentals) for the stay.”

• Breakfast and the pool were really great.
• The ceiling leaked over the toilet they did not clean up the mess and would not tell me if it was a toilet or shower that leaked.

“As above I asked three times to be informed about the nature of the leak and the staff hemmed and hawed around and did not answer me I wanted to know if I had toilet water all over my floor all night and we had been walking in it even dripped on my head. It came through the light socket. I was not pleased.”

• I wish the front door was easier to get in and out of, but no big deal.

“I thought it was an excellent hotel for the price. It was very comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was great. There were plenty of towels and pillows. The layout of the room was great and everything was in working order.”

• Great morning breakfast.
• No microwaves, TV had no hook-up for DVD player or x-box game. Big problem with the safety deposit box HUGE PROBLEM.

• Clean, large rooms with many extras and dogs are OK.
• They need make your own waffles for breakfast.

“Nice facility, but a little far from our destination which was south of Bend. However, there were plenty of good restaurants nearby, so we were not greatly inconvenienced.”

• The hotel was very fresh and clean. We slept very well, and the morning breakfast offerings were surprisingly good, with fresh cinnamon rolls.
• It was not in Bend itself, but on the outskirts. However, the room had a pamphlet of a food delivery service for 10 different restaurants.

“This was a clean and quiet hotel with pool and spa. The staff were all very friendly and polite and perky. It's located right off the highway, near a gas station. Not in downtown Bend, but easy to access for those traveling through.”

“My initial room assignment had been used by a guest with cats. My daughter and I are allergic to cats and obviously this was a problem. Most distressing was the fact that the room was so poorly cleaned that cat hair and the smell of cat urine was immediately apparent in the room. The staff was very accommodating however in allowing us to move to another room which was much more suitable.”
