• Close to the highway.
• Unsafe hotel room, ceiling falling in rooms.

“The location of this hotel is great, needs multiple updates and a good cleaning. We had 2 rooms that both had issues with the ceilings. Air conditioner not working. Just not up to date. The cleaning lady needs to clean the whole room not just change the sheets.”

• Right off the highway, easy to find.
• No restaurant in the hotel, had to go to another hotel across the street for dinner.

“Ok for if you just need a bed and bathroom, nothing spectacular.”

• The breakfast definitely saved it for me. This hotel gave the best complimentary breakfast, I have seen for a moderate hotel. The staff was also good.
• The overall experience was terrible. The rooms were freezing and the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. No heat.

“You might as well find a better place closer to Boston (or stay at the Westin just across the street). Sure, the breakfast was great - I'll give it that. But I'm sure I could have an even better breakfast at an IHOP and stay at a better hotel all for less than what the Holiday Inn Express charged me. It was certainly disappointing. On the plus side though, the staff was very kind and attentive to your needs.”

• A great value. Clean, quiet, and convenient.
• A little tough to find off the highway exit.

“I was very impressed. Quite the contrary- immaculate, large rooms and very quiet! It was the perfect selection and very convenient for my needs. I will stay here again -No Doubt!”

• Continental breakfast for my children.
• No swimming pool, but know this is a business travel hotel.

“Easy to get in and out of Boston from the hotel, right off the highway (but no noise from the traffic), great continental breakfast. We stayed in the main building, so I'm not sure about noise from the other buildings. We would stay again.”

• Easy access to highway.
• There was not enough hot water to take a shower at 7:30am. There was later, but not when I wanted it.

“The bathroom was clean, but construction was average as I could feel the bottom of the tub/shower enclosure sink a bit beneath my feet.”

• Good location, helpful staff, clean and free internet.
• Can't think of anything very good for its level.

“Hotel met expectations. Clean room, wireless internet and front desk personnel very helpful. Also, very good free breakfast. Met all expectation of what I wanted. Very good value for the area. I'd go again.”

• Room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was good. Staff pleasant.
• Crowded at breakfast. Bathrooms could be updated.

“We had a pleasant stay. Got in late Saturday night and noticed the hotel was crowded with high school kids in town for sporting events. We were worried about the noise since we were traveling with two small children but to our surprise we didn't hear a thing! Staff was pleasant even after our son locked us out of our room twice.”

• It was clean hotel at convenient location. However, the room was very small.
• Room Size.

“The clearances around the bed was not enough to pass through my son's wheelchair; other than that, I was favorably pleased with every thing else.”

• Nice room, comfy bed, internet access.
• Wake-Up Call system failed! We almost missed our conference presentation.

“The Wake-Up Call system did not work. My colleague and I left 2 wake-up calls (by talking to a person at the front desk), and did not receive a single call. We almost missed the presentation we were giving at a regional conference. We requested reimbursement or some type of compensation and the manager was certainly not accommodating. She finally agreed to give us 10,000 Holiday Inn points, which basically gets you nothing. I was extremely disappointed with their non-caring attitude / lack of interest in customer satisfaction. I will have be hard pressed to stay at a Holiday Inn again. If they had just been a little nicer, I would have walked away happy (even after they caused a great deal of distress as I had to race to my conference).”

• Heat worked well but then air conditioning cycled on.

“Hotel was fine for business travel purposes. Heat needs to be addressed. I don't want hot air then cold air blowing all night.”

• The nearby turnpike caused a lot of traffic noise.

“A modest but pleasant facility with an exceptional staff and clean accommodations. Good value for the area. The downside is the turnpike noise.”

• I liked the furniture, beds, lights, in the hotel room.
• We heard each time when the front door was closed.

“Located on I 95, the hotel has a noisy vicinity It has restaurants in the neighborhood, beside the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast as a bonus. We really liked the furniture and the comfortable beds. We had a lot of fun in front of the TV.”

• What we liked the most is that it was easy to locate, clean, and the breakfast was good.
• It was somewhat isolated--only near other hotels & a gas station, nothing else within walking distance.

“Nice and clean, good continental breakfast, great shower. Overall very positive experience. One thing we had a problem with: we did not stay in the main building (which is $5 more for what seems to be the same room). We checked in at the same time as a couple who WAS staying in the main building, and the staff was considerably friendlier and nicer to them than to us.”

• Excellent continental breakfast. And the beds were comfortable, unlike so many motels these days.
• Stairs can be difficult if you have lots of luggage, but this is a minor consideration.

“Hotels in Boston are pricey. This hotel in Waltham is a reasonable alternative. It's nice, clean, and the breakfast is better than most. The beds are also better than most. I already recommended this hotel to my in-laws looking for a Boston area hotel for their daughter's graduation from BC next year.”
