“The staff was very helpful and friendly. They let me check in early, and were very helpful with any of my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend staying there!”

“Front desk agent had a real attitude. After we checked in we went to our room, found the room very small and had a strange odor. Checked the bathroom found a dead roach lying on the floor. We went down to the front desk and told her we did not want to stay. Mentioned to her they might want to clean the room before they rent it out again, she gave me a dirty look and turned her back to me. My wife went back into the lobby to get her Visa slip and the agent said she through it in the garbage my wife insisted she wanted it back. The agent through the slip at her. Low budget low class.”

“Cheap, good value. Rooms are very small, but OK for 1 person. TV was very old and screen was dark green and barely watch able. Overall a very bare-bones accommodations, but a good value for what you pay.”

“Over all we liked the hotel, convenience of being close to the freeway and surrounding shopping areas. Having Kleenex and small toiletries in the room were a plus, as was the mini breakfast.”

“The hotel had a good value for the area. It could have used a little better cleaning - the chair had dirt on it and the bathroom fixtures and tub had some stains. The walls and floor were paper-thin and whenever one of the adjacent rooms used the toilet or shower, I couldn't hear the TV and was awakened during the night. The space was cramped, but acceptable for the price.”

“The hotel was about what I expected except for the "non-smoking" room which obviously had been smoked in. I was not so happy as the hotel did not have my reservation when I arrived. Luckily I was still able to secure a room on Memorial Day weekend. Added stress to my already hectic schedule.”

“I highly recommend Microtel for a no-frills overnight stay. The price is unbeatable, particularly since it includes a free breakfast in the morning (coffee, juice, bagels, muffins). Room was clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was fantastic, only 5 minutes from Walden Galleria. I wish we had Microtel in Canada!”
