• Location was good.
• Room was too hot upon arrival.

“Check in process was good, clerk was friendly and attentive. When I arrived in my room, it was too hot, and remained that way for several hours after that, even after dropping the thermostat to 70. The tub held water during showers and the TV reception was poor initially.”

• Locks were too low where a small child could easily unlock.

• The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us.
• The hotel is beginning to age, carpet in the halls in dingy.

“The hotel was clean, staff was fantastically friendly, breakfast was great. However, it is starting to age and it could use a slight face lift. When you sit on the end of the bed the other end jumps up. We almost fell off the bed. Loved the location and the price.”

• Wonderful amenities.
• There was not an abundance of breakfast choices.

“The rooms were very clean, the amenities included a swimming pool, basketball/volleyball court and gas grills. All equipment required could be borrowed at no charge. In addition to this, there were free movie rentals and complimentary hot breakfast.”

• Very clean, excellent free breakfast, quiet atmosphere, lots of entertainment choices.
• No complimentary shampoo or conditioner. You have to purchase it & it's very expensive.

“Great place to stay. Bring your own shampoo & conditioner or else you'll pay $2.00 for a tiny bottle of each. Great idea to have a snack bar & midnight ice cream for a charge! Free popcorn & coffee in room. Great stay!”

• This hotel staff was very friendly. They have activities for kids including movies, basketball, pool and other things you can check for free.
• There was not anything I did not like about the hotel.

“The room was good for my husband and me and our 2 kids. Has a full kitchen which was great. They served breakfast every morning and had dinner 3 nights during the week we were there which were included in our price. It is very family oriented and in a good location to various activities in San Antonio.”

• The cable selection and the breakfast buffet were excellent.
• Though the staff was friendly, in this stay I was dissatisfied with my room.

“I complained about the humid or muggy air of the room on my 1st day. Had a staff member come to assess, was offered a fan for the night, and to send maintenance next day, fan never came, maintenance came next afternoon, but not resolved. the only way we could rest was to lower the temp to and uncomfortably cold temp. I was very dissatisfied with this room, and I was never offered better.”

“The location is perfect for tourist, between downtown and the theme parks. Excellent selection of dining establishments. My personal opinion, this is a highly recommended hotel to visit.”

• I liked the kitchenette and the fact that there was an exercise room.
• My only suggestion would be to have disinfectant spray in the exercise room to wipe down the equipment after you use it.

• The room was really clean and close to nice restaurants.
• Front Desk was not friendly, noisy room all night, no hot tub.

“When we arrived at this hotel it was beautiful outside and on the inside. When we went inside our room was ready immediately. The room was impressive. It was very clean. The only disadvantage about the first floor was that the person above was very loud all night. Besides that this hotel was great.”
