“The hotel was convenient to downtown San Antonio. The staff was friendly and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate us. They drove us to/from the Alamo dome and allowed us to park in their parking lot after we checked out.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, didn't have to valet car, parking lot was gated. It was a bit of a long walk to the downtown area but not too bad - we walked it each day we were there.”

• The convenience of being near the highway and to downtown San Antonio.
• Not much.

“The pool is small, but cute and the hot tub was truly relaxing. The hot breakfast in the morning was great and consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, hot coffee, bagels, toast, pastries, and cereal. This is a good place to use if you are on business or vacation. It has complimentary shuttle service to the mall and Riverwalk areas which was wonderful. Nice vans and friendly drivers. It is literally right down the street from the walk and is priced better than staying in the hotels on the walk. Save the money by using this hotel and treat yourself to a fancy dinner. My kids are 7 and 9 and did not have a problem with the size of the pool. We were on vacation mainly for seaworld which only took us 15 minutes to get to from this hotel (maybe faster), but it was spring break and traffic was heavy. The room also has a mini-fridge and a microwave, great for storing Capri Suns, beer, and snacks. Make no mistake about it, we've stayed in fancier hotels, but this will do just fine for families. Romantic couples may wish to get something on the walk instead.”

• Lamp bulb burnt out, bath fan too noisy.

“Excellent hotel and service. It has large rooms with a very comfortable king-size bed and a pull-out couch. Clean and safe. Friendly staff. Perfect hotel for family. Breakfast was good. I will come back again.”

• Nice room layout, newly constructed hotel.
• In a questionable neighborhood that is undergoing an upgrade.

“Nice place. Controlled & monitored parking lot was good since the neighborhood is in transition. Nice continental breakfast although not 5 star quality food-still very good though. Would definitely stay here again if my travel requires close proximity to downtown San Antonio. Actually kind of nice to be away from the Riverwalk traffic but still able to get there in 5 minutes.”

• The staff we met, was very friendly and helpful!
• The elevator was slow.

“I was skeptical about this hotel at first but the staff was very friendly and helpful, provided free shuttle service to the Riverwalk. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was fabulous! I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Everyone seemed really nice.
• The train was not that annoying, but it did come like every hour it seemed like.

“Me and my husband enjoyed the hotel. It was right down the street from the Riverwalk, which we went to everyday. I would most definitely recommend this hotel for families and business people.”

• I liked the free shuttle service to close attractions.
• The air conditioner units are very loud.

“It is a nice hotel that is located very close to downtown. You can take the shuttle to the River center mall and then from there take a trolley to other attractions, or just walk. The thing I did not like was the air conditioner units. They give you ear plugs for the train, which is not that loud, but I used mine for the air conditioner.”

“The hotel itself was a good one. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were just what we needed. It was convenient to the River Center, the actual neighborhood was in the slums. There were loud trains going by every hour or so at night, so it was not restful.”

• I liked having the suite for my family and the shuttle service.
• The location.

“I was expecting this hotel to be closer to downtown San Antonio. Instead I had to take the shuttle to go to my destinations. Also, the location was not in a very nice neighborhood. My family and I had to walk back to the hotel at 11:30 pm one night because the shuttle service stops at 10:30 pm. The walk back was about 6 blocks. If I were alone, I would definitely not have taken that walk!”

• It was a well kept hotel and very friendly staff.

“At first we were upset at how far away we were from the river walk, but the staff made us feels very welcome and the breakfast was great every morning all week long. We finally realized that we had made a great choice in hotels and would recommend it to everyone; in fact we will be staying again on our next vacation. Thank You!”

• We liked how it was conveniently located near the Riverwalk and all of the local attractions including Six Flags.
• The breakfast was good, but the staff had a hard time keeping up with the volume of guests.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay near the Riverwalk. They provide shuttle buses to the area, but overall very safe. The continental breakfast was very filling, even though the staff had a hard time keeping up with the volume of guests. My nice loved the pool and hot tub. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made our stay a very enjoyable one.”

• The 2 bed, 2 room suite was tiny.

• The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.
• Noise from the Amtrak train waking us. Ear plugs are must if you are in an outside room.

“Everyone from this Hotel was very friendly and polite and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The shuttle driver was most accommodating and very helpful. Compliments to the person who hired all them!! I can't say enough about the staff! Great customer service!”
