Erica from Hackettstown,NJ “It was OK. The room itself appeared to be clean, but I'm pretty sure there were some kind of bed bugs. The pool area was tiny and nothing like the pictures, the rooms looked different too. Most of the cleaning staff weren't friendly. And also the breakfast wasn't good (no different than a cheaper hotel) and the eating area was way too small to accommodate all those people. Also the elevators took forever!”

“I have stayed at Spring hill Suites in the past. The front desk staff was nice. The hotel entrance and lobby appeared clean. My room looked clean also, until I stepped into the bathroom. I cleaned the floor and around the toilet, but the smell was still there and still strong. The shower curtain and liner were dirty and there were stains on the curtain. The shower curtain and liner were dirty and should have been changed. The bathroom also had mold growing up the walls around the shower.”

“This hotel meets all expectations for a business traveler or one who will spend most of their time away during the day. The location on the highway may be confusing at first, but the desk gives detailed written directions to most popular locations and highways. The staff is helpful and eager to please.”

“Hotel was very hard to find when coming from the airport and I couldn't understand the man who gave directions when I called the front desk.”

“This hotel was an excellent choice! It was clean, beautiful and the room layout was cozy. The staff was friendly and there was no WiFi in the rooms. There is free high-speed internet, which is great, but you have to be hard wired at the desk in the room to use it.”

“I really enjoyed my brief stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel had nice amenities: free breakfast, small but well-appointed gym, and pool facilities (great for families with children). The staff was very friendly and professional. Despite the facilities issue (no hot water on the day of check out), I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

“The hotel was lovely for its. The location was easily accessible off 78E at exit 58, but trickier when traveling back from the city. It is close to the airport and not far from downtown Jersey. My family of four stayed in a room with a king bed and double sofa. The king bed was quite comfortable. Our kids are grown; ages 18 and 21. They liked the pool, albeit small, and the jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and professional. The public areas of the hotel are clean and orderly, this hotel is fairly new. Parking is secured by lift-gate access in the rear. The Fairfield Inn and Courtyard by Marriott are all at the same location. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, and would stay at this hotel again in the future.”

“This hotel is great for a business traveler. The rooms are spacious with a mini living room for holding small meeting or to work from. The hotel offers dry cleaning and also can turn your business cards into luggage tags. The hotel also offers large meeting rooms. There was also I nice large buffet breakfast in the morning. There is no need to find the local McDonalds.”

“The staff was helpful, the free breakfast was awesome. The pool was nice way to relax. The hotel was close to the airport and not far from Downtown Newark or Elizabeth. Close to the mall and movies and other near by restaurants. The room was cheerfully decorated and clean. It was a great stay.”

“It was a lovely place to stay for a quick overnight with an early flight, but I wouldn't stay there otherwise.” Apr 25, 2008 Amenities at Springhill Suites Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark
